Great Getaway

This home worked perfect for us. Had everything needed to make the stay comfortable. After a couple of issues were resolved.. we enjoyed the pool area the most. Short walk or bike ride to the ocean was a plus. Felt safe in the neighborhood. We would come back here in a heart beat!

Such a great vacation

we like this house very much. Biggest plus was the lanai, was a wonderful decision kept all the bugs away and the sun wasn't to bad either. beach is very close, clean and not many people were there although in the two weeks we spent there we only went there twice and used the pool instead. the house was wonderful and would highly recommend it to friends. and would happily visit again.

Ormond Beach Vacation Home

My family and I had a wonderful time in Ormond Beach last week. The reservation process was seamless and easy. It was like home away from home. The house was spacious and comfortable and the pool was an added bonus. We had a lot of rain from the storm Debby but still had a great time. Amazing Beach house
June 20, 2012
This house has everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The pool area and the patio are amazing. And screened in so no mosquitos to deal with. The manager, Howard stopped by a couple times while we were there just to make sure the pool chlorine was okay and to ensure we werent having any problems. Just a few minutes walk to the beach for swimming and fishing, and the beach is fantastic. No crowds to fight. Great for a family with small children so you dont have to try to keep track of them in the crowds. But the house is also about a 5 minute drive to Daytona Beach if you want the experience of the more populated beach. There is a fishing pier about 5 minute drive away as well so if you dont like to fish off the beach, this is also an option. Just overall an amazing stay, couldnt have asked for a better vacation home, the pictures are definitely not as great as the home. We will definitely return to this property next time we visit Ormond Beach.

We rented this house for February and March but wish it was longer. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The beach is a 3 or 4 minute leisurely walk with a Kangaroo Mart/gas station where we picked up the paper, ice, incidentals every day. you have to cross A1A to get to the beach but the traffic never proved to be a problem. The pool /lanai area behind the house is where we spent 90% of our time. The area is much larger than the photos. Jacob is a is a great owner and will bend over backwards to help you enjoy your stay. Howard manages the house and his friendliness and efficiency adds to the whole experience. You won't be disappointed, but I'm probably shooting myself in the foot by leaving this review because I can't wait to go back!

relaxing vacation home rental

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental home. The home was very comfortable & had enough space for 7 of us. We enjoyed the pool & relaxing out in the screened in lanai. We walked the short walk up the street to the beach every day. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook at the house & not have to go out to eat all the time. The owners were very helpful and made me feel at home. I wish I could have stayed much longer. I definitely felt like I was "at home away from home".

We have rented a vacation house in the past, but you can't beat this one! It sits in a nice quiet neighborhood, the beach is walking distance, and anything you might need is just a short drive. Just about anything you need is onsite, so packing for your trip just became easier. We had a great time and can't wait until next year.

Ormond by the Sea Review

We had a great time. We loved the beach and saw close to 30 dolphins in the six days we were there. We also saw turtles, lots of sting ray and tons of jellyfish. We loved seeing all the wildlife. The beach was quiet and relaxing and we loved coming back to a house with a beautiful pool and lots of room to spread out. We saved a lot of money on our vacation because we were able to cook our own meals in the nicely equipped kitchen. It was definitely a nice vacation home (our home away from home). It was great. We took our 4 kids to ormond beach and stayed in this house. It was our first vacation staying in a house instead of hotel and we loved it. The kids even call it their house in florida beach. Our family had a mini-reunion in Ormond Beach, and the house was perfect! There was space for the kids and adults to enjoy each other and to be apart sometimes. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and the huge tv for their Wii. The owners made the rental process easy, and the local manager was friendly and helpful. Right! The trip consisted of my husband, my two children and their two friends. The home was very spacious!! I miss it already!! We basically had the beach to ourselves!! Which was great for us Northerners. I am sure we looked crazy in the ocean when its temp was like 60 degrees. We got to see whales and dolphins play in it. It was just a 4 minute walk in a good neighborhood. The home was not a disappointment at all. You got what you saw in the pictures. I had no problem with the owners, and received my security deposit soon after I returned home. When I returned home, the question all my family and friends were asking was would I go back to that vacation rental? My answer, "In a heart beat!" I recomend this rental! I had not one problem with setting it up and getting my security deposit. Daytona is only about 15 minutes away. This was my families first time staying in a vacation rental as to hotels and motels. My son and daughter both agree this is the way to go. I just wanted to say Thank You to Jacob, Elina, and Carolyn. Our stay was great!!! You have a wonderful home. It was pretty close to perfect!
