Description of the Osprey vacation condo rental
The condo is located in a wooded complex reminiscent of old Florida, but has the amenities of 2 heated pools, 4 tennis courts, a gym and club house for your use. The condo was designed to afford privacy, with only one wall contacting another unit. The condo was completely updated in 2008The second floor end unit has a 15 ft screened lanai with privacy on all sides. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with full tub and shower. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and the adjacent bath has a walk-in shower. Each bedroom has it's own private balcony. All bath towels and bed linens are included for your use.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a smooth top electric range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker. Meals can be served in the adjoining breakfast nook or in the main dining room that opens onto the lanai. All dishes, utensils and linens are provided. The laundry contains a full size washer and dryer.
The living room with 10' ceilings has 2 swivel lounge chairs and sofa bed as well as a large 42" HD flat screen TV, a DVD player and a CD player. Cable is provided, as well as internet access and a telephone.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a smooth top electric range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker. Meals can be served in the adjoining breakfast nook or in the main dining room that opens onto the lanai. All dishes, utensils and linens are provided. Area Information
Come for Florida's sunshine and gorgeous beaches and stay in a secluded 1300 sq ft condo within walking distance of the Gulf at Casey Key. This fully furnished condo is close to the famous white sand beach at Siesta Key. The neighboring town of Sarasota is home to the Ringling Bros circus museum and St. Armand's Circle which offers an exclusive dining and shopping treat. And to the south, Venice, shark's tooth capital of the world, offers 10 world class golf courses, many open to the public. Venice's beaches are the perfect place to search for seashells or shark's teeth, or you may catch a glimpse of the dolphins down by the town jetty. The outdoor adventurer can bike the newly completed 12 mile Legacy Rail-trail that connect the two towns.
The comforts of home await you. There are beach umbrellas and chairs available for you lounge at the beach. Within short walking distance are a drugstore, bank and a quaint little bistro where you can grab your morning paper and a cup of coffee. Please come and enjoy a few days in paradise.

Nearby Venice and Sarasota are easily accessible. You'll find the Little Theater of Venice, the landmark Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Ringling Museum, New College and its array of attractions, and others. Excellent restaurants are abundant and close, from casual to upscale. state and national parks are close and wonderful places to visit while here including Myaaka State Park which is a wondrous place for all ages. The Barnum and Bailey Circus is well remembered via the Ringling Museum in Sarasota has one of the finest art collections in the Country in the Ringling Art Museum. Throughout the area there are art exhibits, performing arts shows, drama, and this area is home to numerous professional baseball "spring training" teams. A day trip can me made to Busch Gardens in Tampa, to Crystal River to swim with the Manatees or just lay out in the sun with a cool drink in one hand and a book in the other. The Venice area beaches are some of the most beautiful and least "populated" on the entire west coast of Florida. Within 5 minutes of house are excursions on moss draped rivers with canoes, paddle boats, or other watercraft. Farmers' markets are also within 5 minutes of house.The Legacy Biking Trail takes you from Venice to Sarasota. The Myakka State Forest affords hiking, walking, birding, kayaking and picnicking facilities. And there are more than a dozen world class golf courses in the immediate area.
