Year round vacation home. Perfect for Family Reunions, Weddings, and Hunting Trips! Our private lakefront setting on 160 acres has a private dock, paddle boat, kayak, canoe, sauna, hot-tub, game room, fishing, and nature all around. During summer months: swimming in the lake, going out on the water, boat rentals 30 min away, playground, BBQ, roast marshmallows around the fire-pit, outdoor sports. During winter months: perfect for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, ice-skating on pond, skiing 30 min. away (Shawnee Peak), stay cozy by the fire or hop in the hot-tub. We celebrated my mothers' 85th birthday , and needed alot of room for all the family. The owners contacted us right away, and continued to be prompt, with our questions. We had over 35 people there,children, grandchildren and great grandchildren...I think what makes this a great vacation place, is that its for all ages. The greatgrandchildren, were just as happy and busy as the adults. We had a great time, and at no time did it seem crowded. It will be a fond memory for my Mom and the rest of her family...no problems,owners were very warm, and felt quite at ease during our time there. It was great !!!!

An Amazing Experience!

Let me start by saying...WOW! This place was truly amazing! The property is breathtaking and the lake was gorgeous! We had such a great time and were so sad to leave. The owner was very helpful before, during and after our stay. The house was fully stocked and we were never left with a dull moment. Thank you so much for a really memorable vacation! Can't wait to go back next year!

This place was far and beyond the best getaway we have ever had. It was very private. The location and size were far above anything that pictures descibe, it is something you have to see up close! We rented this for the weekend for my wifes 30th b-day party and along with her family we were able to relax, laugh and enjoy all at our own pace and decible level with no worries at all. The owner was very nice and accomadating to all questions and needs that we had. I have and would recommend this place to anyone I know. Two thumbs up and if you are looking to get away and not worry about anything, this would be the place for a family getaway!

We went up there for a weekend in April last year. The pl for our buddies going away party. The place is absolutely gorgeous and on a nice piece of property. It would have gotten a five star rating had the owner not given our party a respectable time. The owner was nice to us about the price considering we didn't use any toys. He does not like groups of college are kids though, and he was very rude to the person that got the house for the going away celebration. Out of respect, we left the place immaculate when we left to show that we appreciated him letting us use his lake house. We paid a lot of money and wish we were given a little more privacy. Overall, the place would be excellent for a large family or group of older adults. If given the chance, I would absolutely return.

Great place for family reunion

We had our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party here. It was just perfect. The house was amazing and the landscape was great for our outdoor lobsterbake and pictures. At night a great firepit was available for us to sit by and relax. The boats and outdoor equipment just topped off the experience. I would recommend this place as a great get away for a family gathering. If you need anything, the owner was there to help. If you want privacy and family time, book this place for your next gathering
