Description of the Ouray vacation home rental

The home is new (5yr) and it has 1,300 sq feet of relaxing comfort, one large master suite, and a loft for extra sleeping for 2 more. Others could sleep in sleeping bags on the main floor. Kitchen fully equipped and the living room has a flat screen with Direct TV. A wood burning stove for pleasure. Home has hot water in-floor heat. Two bathrooms

All furnishings are upscale and new. Grounds are snow covered with easy access in winter. Summer shows you a blush of mountain foliage and a great flower garden with lot's of deer and other mountain animals wondering through. Walks are eazy on the county road and more challenging on the upper mountain road both just outside your back door. It's also my artists studio-- you are welcome to bring your paints and have a week of studio time.

Located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains 34 minutes south of the Montrose Airport. Directly between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. Telluride is the ski area and the Ouray Geothermal Hot Springs is the soaking pool of choice. The home is 45 min from the ski lift in Telluride. The area is well named "The Switzerland of America". Lot's of Jeeping, 4-wheeling and Hiking trails out the back door. The View is spectacular off the front deck--red rock canyons and sunsets with the grill fired up to relax into the evening.

We are located 4 hours from Mesa Verde National Park, also Canyon lands and Arches are 4 hours to the west. The Grand Canyon is 8 hr drive. Lot's of Jeep trails and hiking out of your back door.
