Fishing, both river and ocean, for steelhead or salmon, is a favorite activity here. The town fills up in the fall with folks trying to land "the big one." On the outskirts of our community, you'll find sand dunes for buggies and 4-wheelers as well as great hunting locations for deer, elk and bear. If you enjoy golf there are several courses within a short drive of Pacific City: Chinook Winds Golf Resort in Lincoln City, Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach, Neskowin March Golf Course in Neskowin and Bay Breeze and Alderbrook in Tillamook.

Nearby: 25 miles north of Pacific City in Tillamook, you'll find the Tillamook Pioneer Museum, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Naval Air Station Museum, Munson Creek Falls State Park, Tillamook Bowling Lanes and the Coliseum Movie Theater. 20 miles south in Lincoln City you'll find a great variety of stores at the Tanger Factory Outlet Mall.
