If you like the Rocky Mountain air, beautiful aspen and fir forests, you may enjoy this little gem of a chalet. It is located in Lost Valley, just above Pagosa Springs, and is surrounded by National Forest.

The cabin looks at Pagosa Peak. Nestled between forest and an alpine meadow this 1300 square foot, two story chalet combines solitude and high mountain expansive views. It has limitless access to mountain trails and restful evening lakeside strolls. Aspen Chalet can comfortable accommodate six guests if two sleep on the living room futon. It is a new cabin and is quite comfortable with a modern kitchen and barbeque on the deck overlooking the lake. The location of the chalet is spectacular for the changing of leaves. The yellows oranges and reds dazzle the eye.

You can hike and perhaps catch a glimspe of a herd of elk, bear, weasles, eagles, or porcupines. Or go take a soak in the hot mineral springs in town and retreat into this world that time has left unspoiled. It truly is a place where you can reconnect with nature and leave the world behind.
