Description of the Paia vacation cottage rental

Small price for luxury coumpound. Best windsurfing in the world, sandy beach.
On a 4.1 acres gated private property, this guesthouse of two storey comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open living area with wireless internet access and desk, dining area inside and outside and a fully equipped kitchen. The outside patio and barbecue provide for a great outdoor dining area in the gardens.
The estate owns the widest privately owned beach on the island of Maui. The beach is protected by a reef one kilometer away. It is ideal for kayak, snorkeling and swimming in the morning and windsurfing and kite surfing in the afternoon when the trade winds pick up.

Beautiful gardens. Close to all services, shopping and restaurants. White sand beach.

Shopping and Dining: A short distance from the charming Paia town, where there are delicious restaurants, art galleries, shops, entertainment and more beaches. Also a short drive from Mama 's Fish House famous restaurant.
Beach equipment may be rented with local providers. Kayak, windsurf, surfing equipment and bicycles.

Nearby Attractions: Maui has incredible natural diversity ranging from desert to rain forest. Visit the rain forest, the National Parks, the Haleakala Crater or the waterfalls. Enjoy a romantic dinner Hawaiian style or survive the drive to Hana. Go for an Helicopter ride, or try whale watching or scubadiving at the nearby Molokai island.

There is a bike route passing next to the house. You can windsurf of kite surf from the beach in front of the house. You can swim out to the reef and surf. A helicopter tour is a real treat.

• Deposits: Payment detail 50% of the rent is required to secure the reservation. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to arrival. No refund for cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival. Owners accept payments via PayPal or Bank Transfer Security deposit A security deposit of 1000$ may be required on arrival.
   
• Other Fees: For rentals less than 7 nights, a cleaning fee of $250 will be charged.

 Great for young people, October 17, 2009

Rented this Carriage house for 1 week but upon arrival found that it was not suitable for "seniors" due to the steep spiral staircase to the living area on the second floor. Would be a great place for younger water sports enthusiasts and reasonable at the price. (Fortunately, the Beach House that sits right in front of the Carriage House was available so we moved in there and thouroughly enjoyed a very relaxing week on the North Shore of Maui) Grounds of the estate are beautiful and the beach is wonderful. Great for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Very private and peaceful. Such a nice change from the crowed shores on the other side of the Island. Enjoy!
