Top level, premium Pajaro Dunes oceanfront condo 30 yards from the expansive, family-friendly beach with a 180 degree, unobstructed ocean view from Monterey Bay to Santa Cruz. Savor dramatic ocean views and awesome sunsets while relaxing on the living room sofa, reclining on the queen bed in the bedroom, or sitting on the outdoor deck. Just step outside to feel the sand, sun, and ocean, and to sunbath, build a sand castle, search for sea shells, surf, play volleyball, fish, or just sit peacefully amidst the majestic beauty of nature. Walk or jog along the beautiful beach, bike along adjacent trails, feed the ducks at the nearby pond, or use the exercise facilities, tennis courts, and basketball courts that are a close walk away.

The attractively-decorated condo is fully furnished with two HD televisions and DVD players, phone service, and wireless high speed internet connection, washer & dryer. The living room includes a wood-burning fireplace next to an outdoor deck with a propane gas BBQ grill that complements the fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a separate loft that sleeps two.

The many attractions of Monterey, Carmel, and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, 17 Mile Drive, and Pebble Beach Golf Course, are within an easy half-hour drive. Grocery, department, and discount stores for basic vacation needs are in Watsonville, which is only 10 minutes away. This condo exceeded all of our expectations. The ocean views are amazing and even visiting in November we had great weather and sunshine all weekend. We plan to return again and again to this beautifully furnished unit.

We wanted water front and peace and quiet; we were not disappointed. Just steps from the ocean and a beautiful beach to walk for miles. We were well rested when it was time to return home. The wood burning fireplace was nice and kept us warm especially when an unseasonal storm came blowing in one night. There was no wood in or near the condo and no instructions on where to get wood which was a bummer for us as we arrived later in the evening. We would however, stay here again if we were to return to this part of the country.

This was our first visit to Pajaro Dunes and the condo was fantastic. Perfect location with gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. The condo has a very open feeling to it and exceed all of our expectations. What a gem!

We were looking for a spot to take a short vacation not to far from home and found this condo that looked like it would be the right place .When we arrived and opened the front door we knew we had made the right decision --wow--what a view! the place was great , clean , open ceilings and right on the beach .We really enjoyed the three days and wish we could have stayed longer , from the sand dollar races -yes they do move across the beach -the surf fishing -we did not catch anything but it was still fun -boogie boarding ,going to the boardwalk , golfing at Pacific Grove , and mainly just hanging out together it was a great time The condo had everything you needed and the Pajaro Dunes property is well maintained and all the people we met with were very nice and helpful -great time -great place and hopefully we get to go back soon

 

 The privilege of the private beach, May 29, 2009

What an adventure my boy friend and I had at this oceanfront condo! Compared with public beaches we have seen, this private beach was so nice, clean, and uncrowded.We felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Usually, there were fewer than 10 people within eye sight. It is well worth the rent we paid for the privilege of enjoying this private beach that is only steps away from the condo. We built a sand castle on the first day, walked along the fine sandy beach, and fell asleep while sunbathing on the beach. We gathered some drift wood, built a fire, and BBQed the fish we just caught in the ocean. With the fire in front of us and the sunset in the background, the meal tasted more delicious than any fine restaurant cuisine we have ever tried. For dessert, we toasted some marshmallows. My only complaint is that firewood for the fireplace was not provided but we found some later at the onsite convenience store.

We live in Texas and come to the Bay Area often. Whenever possible we stay at this condo to get away and relax. The condo view provides wonderful vistas of sunsets and of a glorious stretch of beach in both directions. While the condo comes with all the comforts of home we mostly enjoy listening and watching the ocean on the deck or on the soft couches inside; with the lights turned off and the fireplace on, it is quite an experience. When we feel a little more adventuresome we have the selection of Monterey or Carmel close by both beautiful locations but it is hard to get us away from ocean and comfort this condo provides.
