Interlachen, FL "Land Between the Lakes": 4 Bedroom home for rent on a private "JEWEL LAKE"; "spring fed", clear water, sandy bottom lake in beautiful Interlachen, Florida. Enjoy the "country" feeling of getting away, being on a real vacation, while enjoying the luxuries of being only 30 minutes away from Gainsville, FL, 40 minutes from St. Augustine, FL beach, 1 hour away from Daytona Beach, FL, 1.5 hours away from Orlando, FL, and 1.5 hours away from Jacksonville, Beach, FL. This home sits directly on the lake, with 8 large picture window in "family"- living room over looking the lake. This home has 3 TV's with cable, 2 dvd players, dining room, living-family room, 4 bedrooms with dressers, large gas grill, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, boat ramp, large dock with swing, large sandy beach, fishing poles and gear..too many ammenities to mention!! If you enjoy watching the sunrise as we do, you will have the PERFECT view of the eastern sky. We also have a Hawk that lives in the area, along with otters that swim from one side of the lake to the other first thing in the morning. We also enjoy many turtles making their homes in the area as well. There are no alligators in this lake. (Or, any that we've ever seen anyway!!) :)

Area Description

Interlachen, FL is known as the "Land Between the Lakes". The surrounding area is nature filled, quiet and peaceful; very picturesque. The "locals" are extremely kind, and watch our for one another. As stated above, the location is very centrally located for easy access to many favorite Florida vacation destinations including parks, recreation, St. Augustine Outlet Mall, beaches, etc.

St. Augustine Outlet Mall is within 40 minutes of the lakehouse as well.
