We spent the month of December at this wonderful house and loved every minute. Clean and well appointed - lots of towels and nice linens - we couldn't have asked for more. Tv's, games, an outdoor grill, and lots of equipment for the beautiful pool...The outdoor lighting is lovely, and the pool was heated - the pool area is terrific. We enjoyed our vacation immensely - this location is convenient to both Daytona Beach and Flagler Beach, plus being close to shopping. We hope to be back- Bert is a wonderful host!

This House was Awesome I Loved Everything about it!!! Its located in a quiet neighborhood and I could be at the Cracker Barrel,Walmart,Destination Daytona, BeaverBar,Broken Spoke, or the Iron Horse in 15-20 Minutes . We had plenty of room and a nice secure garage to park our bikes. The House is well maintained and emaculate. Beautifully Landscaped and the pool was great i usually started my day off with a refreshing dip in the morning and take a second dip later in the day. Bert the owner was very friendly and helpfull in everyway. Handsdown this was my BEST VACATION EVER!! Next Year I'm planning on staying for at least 2 weeks or possibly a month. My husband and I met our business partner and his girlfriend for a well needed break from work and the day-to-day. We did not know what to expect but, let me tell you, it was wonderful. Home is very well maintained and close to gas, groceries and entertainment. For those who like a little excitement, we recommend the White Eagle Lounge, a great group of people. We absolutely loved the pool and practically lived in it! You are close enough with a little drive to get to St. Augustine but, will find it hard to pull yourself away from the house. We will definitely keep this place on our list and would recommend to anyone else looking for some RnR!! Thanks alot Bert!!

Bert was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely helpful with any issues before our trip and during. This home had exceeded our expectations! It was very well kept and had everything we needed to feel as though we were at home. It was VERY family friendly as the 5 children that stayed there will attest to:-). The pool was perfect! It was well maintained and it was definately what will keep us coming back to this lovely home for many years to come!!! The drive to the beach was very easy and only 10 mins from the house. My family and our pets had the most relaxing vacation this summer! Great house, pool and patio and yard! My child finally learned to swim with confidence during our stay! The kids loved playing Harry Potter on the Playstation and I am quite sure that will be on Santa lists this year! We were close to a great little beach, a Super Target, and an aweaome Chinese fiod restaurant called China Express on Palm Coast Road. We drove to St. Augustine for a short visit and it was only about 20 min away! We loved everything about the house, especially being able to pull our car into the garage out of the heat! The beds and sheets were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed! Fantastic place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 41 Slowdrift Turn in Palm Coast, Florida Jan and Feb of 2011. Downside was that due to a freeze a pipe burst and the pool filter has to be replaced. When the pool was up it was heated and great. Uses salt and no harsh chemicals. Needed to add about an inch of water every other day or so. The area is quiet and is close to the beach, shopping, Daytona, St Augustine and other areas of interest. Bring books as TV stations are limited. While there are DVD's available, I found several to be missing so if you have favorites, bring them. Kitchen could use some updating but is adequate. Limited on serving type dishes. The owner of the property, Bert Bomas, is easy to deal with, easy to talk to, and took care of any problems (pool) we had. Recommend Vacation Home Rentals and this particular location if you want a quiet and relaxing vacation.

My elderly parents came down from Ohio. The house was very clean & nice. The fenced in yard was very covient for their pet. The pool had a few issues, but Bert & his pool company was right on the problem. Very nice people. Will certainly reconmend to anyone!

Nice Quiet Retreat - Great Location

This place is in a great location - close to everything, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of the real world. Stayed here during a vist to the NASCAR race at Daytona International Speedway. Good location to use as a base for trips to Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, Daytona, St. Augustine or any other Northeast Florida destination.The house was well furnished, clean, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The lanai and pool area were especially nice during those hot summer days and humid evenings. The accent lighting around the fenced-in backyard added a special ambience during the evening hours. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay that is close to everything yet quiet and relaxing.

Nice 3 bedroom house with usable pool ,clean ,wireless internet that worked,very nice family orientated neighborhood . with-in 5 miles of major shopping ,restrants and walking distance[long walk] to the white Eagle biker bar . We've rented other houses in the last 3 years that looked and sounded great on the internet ,but when we got there ,they were neglected by the owners ,broken appliances,pool table with useless cues, burn out light bulbs with no replacements etc. Thats not the case with Berts house ,every thing worked and was well maintained .

My husband & I wanted a place to stay a few nights between Md. and Ft. Myers Florida. We have two Std. Poodles. The house is not only very tastefully furnished; the back yard is huge and fenced. The kitchen is well equipped as well. I told the owner we rented a place in Ft. Lauderdale last year which could not hold a candle to his house and was also more costly. I hope in the future to rent it for a longer period of time in hopes of exploring that part of Florida. I thought the price was extremely reasonable for such a lovely and up to date clean property!

The house we rented in Palm Coast, Florida was wonderful. When we entered it felt like home away from home. It was wonderful to come back to after a day of being gone to return to the comfort of this house and the pool. After being at the beach, it was still nice to be able to come back and relax beside the pool before bed time and review the days events. We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the excitement of vacation, but also having the comforts of home too

A lovely retreat

We were very pleased upon our arrival at the house. Inside the furnishing were clean and inviting. Outside was especially a surprise - the lanai and pool area were appealing and in the evening the fencing with the lighting made the whole area special. We found the area quiet and relaxed. Flagler Beach is a short 10 minute drive. There are many nice places to eat. The farmers market on Fridays and Saturdays is nicely supplied with fresh veggies and fruit. It was a pleasant drive to St. Augustine as well as Daytona . Our month spent at this wonderful house - was extra special and we would certainly enjoy staying there again.

Is an ideal location close to everything but away from it all. Has great amenities, is very clean and well equipped. A short drive to Daytona, Orlando and St. Augustine and an even shorter drive to Flagler Beach and some great restaurants. Enjoy the best of Florida but have your own space and pace.

This is a wonderful location if you are looking for a quiet retreat. The home is decorated like a four-star hotel. Close to shopping and the beach, but oozing with privacy. It was great to relax by the pool and not worry about being bitten by black flies or hearing other people's kids. It will be hard to stay at a beach hotel after enjoying the amenities at this home.

Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The home is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. It felt like a home away from home, very comfortable and well kept up. It was very easy to relax and enjoy all the comforts of home in addition to beautiful weather and great scenery. In a second, I would recommend this home to other families. We had a blast and can't think of anything we would change. There was plenty of room for the adults to have their space & the kids spent most of their time in the pool area which was quite comfortable also. The beaches were a short drive away, but there was always parking and plenty of space for the family. It is a pretty quiet area, perfect for a family who really wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation!

Just returned from 40 Slowdrift Turn,and had a wonderful stay.Nice low key area.But yet close to many things.( Enjoyed the White Eagle, for St. Patricks Day.) The weather was perfect, lucky me, which meant enjoying the beautiful pool every day. My husband is still there for the month,fishing, riding his motorycle and playing golf.We have rented in the Daytona are for 10 years and by far this is the best yet.I dont want to write to many good things about the place as we want to come back, and not have it booked up. This very nice, well maintained home helped make our stay in Palm Coast thoroughly enjoyable and we wont hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. To go anywhere other than a walk in the quiet neighborhood you'll need to drive but this is a nice location from which to explore Northeast Florida. Removed from the busiest part of Palm Coast you are only 6 miles from shopping centers and the nearest beaches. Northeast Florida offers an abundance of public beach access, beautiful parks and wildlife habitat. Be sure to drive the "Ormond Loop" which is a lovely area of Florida scenery. A pleasant 30 minute drive north along A1A and you're in St. Augustine or head south 20 miles and you're in Daytona Beach. An hour and a half from the Orlando area, it's an easy day trip to the theme parks.
