     This designer-decorated one story unit with two car garage is located next to the tenth tee at Woodhaven Country Club in Palm Desert. The many original works of art throughout the home lend an air of comfort and elegance while the wall to wall windows in the great room and cathedral ceilings lend a feeling of spaciousness far beyond its 1400 square feet.     The patio is separated from the golf course by seasonal flowers and has an eastern exposure to assure morning sunshine for your breakfast coffee.  It is within easy walking distance to the clubhouse, workout equipment, tennis courts, raquet courts, swimming pools and spas (hot tubs.)     
The living room has an HD TV, a Blu-ray DVD player, and an HD DVR as well as a five disc stereo CD player. High speed WiFi internet access, unlimited long distance calls in the US and Canada, a portable computer table and an HP printer, scanner and copier set the scene for your home office.     
Both bedrooms have large TVs and the master bedroom also has a VCR and DVD player. The oversized master bedroom has a very large walk-in closet and a king-sized bed with space to spare. The guest bedroom has twin beds that may be pushed together to make a king bed.  The dining room table will seat eight and the kitchen has all the accessories necessary for a gourmet cook including an automatic trash compactor.

     The unit is located at 41396 Woodhaven Drive East in Palm Desert which is located in the Coachella Valley between Palm Springs to the west and Indio to the east.  Woodhaven Country Club is located off Washington Boulevard between Highway 10 and Highway 111 in a gated community with 24 hour security.  There is an 18 hole golf course, 8 tennis courts, work-out facilities, two raquet courts,five spas and four swimming pools as well as a club house with social activities for members and guests.       
It is five minutes driving time to grocery store shopping, ten minutes to large shopping centers and restaurants and fifteen minutes from downtown Palm Desert with its exclusive stores and restaurants on El Paseo.  It is a thirty minute drive to Palm Springs where the art museum, Palm Canyon Oasis and arial tram are worth visiting. It's a forty five minute drive to a huge discount mall with a hundred and thirty-five stores containing almost all of the major brands.          
The Living Desert in Palm Desert is on its way to becoming a full fledged zoo.  It is a pleasure to watch the adult giraffes and the baby walk around their huge savana-like enclosure.  There is also a giant water park in nearby Palm Springs.  Hiking trails abound for the athletically inclined.   The area is well known for its many Indian owned gambling casinos and outstanding dining.
