Description of the Palm Springs vacation condo rental

You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy a vacation here. Larger (850 sf) villa-type condo (end unit with no one above or below) is located on a 27 hole PGA championship golf course with spectacular views of the mountains. Watch the golfers tee off from your patio. Your stay includes discounted golf/tennis plus dining privileges at our beautiful Desert Princess Country Club.

This no-smoking unit is fully furnished and custom decorated in a colorful tropical motif features a generous comfy king bed in the master suite with mountain views, two bathrooms (his and hers with dressing table), and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.

New stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator with filtered water/ice in the door and a built-in microwave. Convenient washer/dryer in unit and lots of storage space for long stays. Two TVs. Cable TV with Showtime and HBO with a VCR/DVD player in living room. Both a sofa and love seat offers added comfort for both you and guests. A shady front garden patio and a sunny back patio with gorgeous mountain and fairway views features a patio table, two relaxing chaise lounges and a barbecue grill.

We also have a golf cart pad (doubles as a semi-private sunning area), orange and gratefruit trees, three screen doors for those wonderful late afternoon breezes, friendly ducks, and all located on gorgeous manicured grounds.

The Desert Princess Country Club community features 33 pools and spas, numerous lakes, tennis courts, raquetball, putting greens, day spa with massage & facials, fitness center, fine restaurants. 24 hour guard gated community is a wonderful, secure place for walking or just relaxing. Your stay entitles you to discounted golf, tennis, racquetball, massage, including dining privileges for a low fee. Enjoy Sunday brunches, Wednesday Bingo, Friday Fish Frys, and other events. You'll be glad you came!

Area Information

Palm Springs downtown ARTS & CRAFTS STREET FAIR with live music and food vendors is held every week. Our villa is located near Gene Autry Trail and Date Palm with easy access to the freeway.

Only 5 minutes to the Palm Springs airport, Palm Springs Aviation Museum, fabulous entertainment at the Aqua Caliente casino and The Spa casino downtown Palm Springs. Lots of shopping close by at Lowes, Walmart Super Center, Home Depot, Marshal's, Office Depot, Panda Express. Close to The River (mall of restaurants), Casino Morongo, Palm Springs Aerial Tram, hiking trails and Indian ruins. Lots to do in the area.

Palm Springs Condo

Condo located on the 5th. Fairway on Lagos course. Good location. Condo clean, and we loved having 2 bathrooms. T V needs to be updated. Lots of towels and and other amenities, Would stay again.

Thank you Harry for complimenting on the cleanliness and the fact that we have two bathrooms which we feel is a big bonus for a 1 bedroom. Sorry about the living room TV not being flat screen. We had not heard that before. Hopefully we made up for it by offering 12 extra premium HBO and 12 Showtime channels for free this year. Hope you enjoyed your stay and got to use your golfing discount.

Lovely Condo

We enjoyed our stay very much. Although the condo was a little "dated" it was very clean and very comfortable. Loved the his and hers bathrooms. We liked the patio as you could choose between shade or sun. Our only "complaint" was the small dining table and only 2 chairs. However, we would certainly rent there again.

Owner's reply:

The dining table is a standard round glass table and actually has three upholstered leather chairs. However there are other chairs in the unit to use if extra guests are invited.

Great Place, Great Time!

Loved your condo! The furniture was so comfy, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals and entertain our friends, who also like to come to Palm Springs in the Fall/Winter. We especially liked the two patios in front and in back, and we absolutely loved that we had his and hers bathrooms. Everything was great, and we didn't even need the internet connection after all. Thanks again so very much. We will definitely be back.

Very Relaxing Vacation Home!

Your place was everything we thought it would be and more. The view from the back patio across the fairway was lovely, the grounds and flowers were so beautiful, and we especially enjoyed how quiet it was. We also liked that it was close to the pool area but not too close. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We liked having two bathrooms and a washer/dryer in the condo. We will be back for sure!

Quiet Place to Relax

Great place to sit on the patio in the sun, read a book and watch the golfers go by. Very quiet neighbourhood, condo very comfortable with all the appliances needed to set up for a home away from home for a couple of weeks. Lots of golfing nearby at reasonable rates. Recommend highly, and will go back.

Q:What are some of the fun things to do at our vacation rental?

A:Play golf or tennis, get a massage, lay by the pool, take a jacuzzi, or just do some rest and recuperation on the three patios with a view of the mountains and golf course on the back patio.

Q:What makes our vacation rental special?

A:We have two bathrooms - one for him and one for her (extra sit-down vanity for her). We also have three patios front and back. One has sun nearly all day, one is a small meditation garden, and the back one has sun and views but more privacy. Our condo is an end unit wtih no one above or below and no stairs. Very quiet and we also have a screen door to allow the cool breezes to flow throughout the condo.

Q:What is the coolest nearby activity?

A:Golf, of course, since we are located on a PGA rated golf course but there's also lots of hiking, biking, sunbathing by one of the 33 pools, eating at the three restaurants, and shopping nearby. Our condo is centrally located to the freeway, airport, downtown Palm Springs, shopping and other restaurants outside the Desert Princess country club.
