Description of the Palmilla vacation condo rental
This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo is located inside Plaza Calafia in the Cabo Bello development, a gated community with 24 hour security. It is located about 4 miles outside of the town of Cabo San Lucas in an area known as the Cabo Corridor. The complex consists of several three story buildings situated around a garden area with two pools. Both pools have barbecue areas equipped with grills and clean-up sinks, the family pool has a whirlpool and there is free wireless internet service in the adult pool area. The water supply in Cabo is either spring fed groundwater or piped directly from the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and is generally very pure. While bottled water is still the norm for drinking, precautions used in other parts of Mexico like avoiding ice and salads are not necessary in Cabo.

The kitchen/dining area has all the comforts: dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender and a full stock of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. The living area has 2 sofas, television with new DVD/VCR unit, the second bedroom has two twin beds, a closet and bath with shower. The master bedroom has a oversized king bed, a huge dresser( with snorkeling equipment, beach gear, chairs and umbrellas), closet and a shower. The TV has Plaza Calafia cable service that includes several English language channels. The balcony has a sitting area and a breath taking view. Right outside the condo door you will find a pathway that leads you down a spiral staircase to the semi private beach, Cabo Bello, that has the best snorkeling in all of Cabo.

Area Info
Cabo Bello Beach has a small stand that sells drinks and rents sea kayaks, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment. However, the condo already has all the snorkeling gear for two. There is a small area on the right side of the beach that is protected from the waves for snorkeling and has beautiful tropical fish. Medano Beach is the main safe swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas and the most popular. You'll find it easy to rent the water toy of your choice, from high-powered wave runners, to quiet sea kayaks. Access to this beach is available through any of the hotels and restaurants along this long stretch of beach. Lover's Beach, is a must see, but to get to this hidden cove you'll need to hire a water taxi at the marina. You will get an informative tour of the diving areas around the arch (El Arco) and Lover's Beach, and will then go around the popular point for a wonderful view of the dramatic area where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Plan on spending the better part of the day enjoying Lover's Beach and the striking wind and water shaped rock formations; your skipper will come back for you at a pre-determined time...all for one price. For the more adventurous, you can rent a sea kayak at Medano Beach and paddle across to Lover’s Beach.

Cabo San Lucas has long been recognized as one of the top destinations in the world for big game fishing. No other destination in the world can rival it for the number and variety of fish caught year round. Even if you are a novice and don't know anything about fishing, Cabo San Lucas is a great place to start your fishing experience. Known as the "Marlin Capital of the World," there are more marlin caught here than any other place on earth; it is not unusual to capture one or even more on your very first trip, whether you are a beginner or an expert. Not only will you experience the thrill of battling a creature of incredible beauty and size, or landing smaller species and eating them, your fishing excursion gives you an opportunity to view the Cape and its landmarks from a unique perspective and often allows you to get a close up look at whales, dolphins and seals.

Cabo San Lucas and the Los Cabos area has become one of North America’s hottest golf destinations and is the number two attraction in Los Cabos. Today there are three Nicklaus designed golf courses in Los Cabos—twenty-seven holes at Palmilla, eighteen holes at the Eldorado Golf Club at Cabo Real, and eighteen holes at Cabo del Sol. To round things out, there are the Robert Trent Jones II designed Cabo Real Golf Club, Dye Corporation designed Raven Golf Club at Cabo San Lucas and the Tom Weiskopf designed eighteen-hole Desert Course at Cabo del Sol along the Tourist Corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (The two Cabo del Sol courses are 3 km (about 2 miles) from Plaza Calafia). The magnificent terrain is comparable to that found in Arizona and California desert golf courses. What sets Los Cabos apart is the presence of the Sea of Cortez, a sparking water-wonderland of incredile hues reaching as far as the eye can see. Golfers in Cabo San Lucas also have an added bonus...11 months of rain-free vacation play.
Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos offer a wide variety of dining options for everyone from casual local eateries to elegant fine dining in restaurants along the oceanfront. The popular Ristorante Da Giorgio with its magnificent views of El Arco is less than a mile from Plaza Calafia.
As the sun makes its golden way across the western sky, slipping into the Pacific Ocean, the sizzle you hear is the sound of the nightlife heating up in Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos for an evening of great entertainment and adventure. Starting the party on the beach is a great way to enjoy a cool beverage and people watch. Billygan's Island, Las Palmas, Mango Deck or The Office, all on Medano Beach, are popular lively locations, but as the sun sets it's time to experience all that Los Cabos nightlife has to offer. The night starts with sunset and for some, it's the most magical time. Sunsets may be viewed from any number of bars and restaurants in Cabo San Lucas. For those who like to party, Cabo San Lucas has some kind of nightlife entertainment for everyone. A visit to Cabo Wabo Cantina,The Giggling Marlin Bar & Grille, Hard Rock Café, and El Squid Roe is a must for your Cabo San Lucas party vacation.

Vacationing in Cabo San Lucas was never so relaxing or exciting as when we stayed at Cabo Bello for ten days in June. The location is close enough to enjoy the wonderful restaurants in the city but removed enough to enjoy the quiet and solitude of a secluded get-a-way. The condo unit was equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and the grounds and pools were exceptionally clean and inviting. The private beach is just minutes away. On our next trip to Cabo I will definitely stay at Cabo Bello.

This condo is nestled in the perfect location between Cabo San Lucas and Cabo San Jose. The complex is very nice with two swimming pools/spas. I really enjoyed the private beach which was just a short walk down an incredible stone spiral staircase. The condo itself is very roomy with two bedrooms, two full baths and a full kitchen with an eat at bar. . Downtown Cabo is just a few miles up the road the other direction where there are plenty of restaurants and activities to keep you busy. We were fortunate enough to be there for New Years eve and enjoyed a spectacular fireworks show over the ocean from both Cabo and San Jose right from our balcony.
