Description of the Panama City Beach vacation condo rental

I am a member of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. I am listed as "A Beachfront Condo".
Location! Location! This second home is on the much desired west end of the beach. This is the family end of the beach! Everybody wants to be on the west end but this complex truly is!
We are about 2 miles from the new Pier Park.

We are on the West End of the Beach so enjoy a Quieter Spring Break.

This beautiful condo offers all the expected amenities and comforts of home. Decorated with a tropical lighthouse and ship theme. It is only two years old and is directly on the beautiful water and white sand of the Gulf of Mexico. Our Second HOME has a straight, DIRECT VIEW, through the large sliding glass doors, of the ocean.
We are located on the MUCH DESIRED WEST END of the beach! This is the quiet family end of the beach away from the traffic and the party area of Panama City.

**We are one of the closest resorts to the BALLFIELDS***.

You will have a KING-SIZED BED in the master, two bunks in the hallway and a queen-sized sleeper sofa.
The furnishings are upscale and dark rich wood. They are a great contrast to light color of the tile in every room except the bedroom, where there is new top of the line berber carpeting.
The appliances are new and very nice. The refrigerator is a side-by-side with ice and water in the door and a WATER FILTER that actually makes a difference!
We have a dehumidifier to avoid that hot, damp feeling that some of the hotels have.
There is a smooth-top range, microwave, WASHER/DRYER, and a dishwasher. We have also provided two hair dryers, a vacuum, and an iron and ironing board. The kitchen has all the dishes, appliances and utensils needed to prepare most meals.
We have a new 42" projection T.V. with DVD and VCR in the Great Room and a 27" flat screen T.V. in the master bedroom. The 27-inch flat screen TV has a VCR, DVD Player, CD and stereo.
One bath has a tub/shower combination and the other bath has a large stand-up or sit-down shower. The tub and shower are marble.
Celadon is a great complex for singles or families. Celadon DOES NOT have a BAR on the premises!
Celadon does have TWO POOLS, one is an INDOOR/OUTDOOR heated pool. The indoor portion is climate controlled with both heating and cooling. This makes is great for visiting during those cooler months. It is also a great place for people with children.
Parents can keep the smaller children in from the sun in the shallow end of the pool while the older children play in the outdoor portion within full view. They can even swim back and forth from indoor to outdoor.
The EXERCISE ROOM also looks out onto the pool through full length glass windows. The entrance to the exercise room is adjacent to a pool entrance so it is truly just a few steps from the exercise room to the indoor portion of the pool. Parents can decide if they feel safe watching their older children swim while getting a workout for themselves.
If you like to watch TV while working out we have those, too. There are restrooms with changing areas and lockers for your workout gear. An on-site tennis court, shuffleboard, charcoal grills, covered parking garage with a climate controlled walkway and a game room are also for your use.
Our condo/second home has large glass doors that look out onto the beautiful gulf. The view is absolutely breathtaking! The PCB locals that installed our new carpeting were amazed at how beautiful our view was from the 20th floor and they see beachfront condos everyday! This is a ONE LEVEL condo. The higher floor location of our home provides a view of the MARINE LIFE below that a lower unit just does not have. If you enjoy sitting on your balcony during your vacation you really should think about trying a higher floor for the best views.
You can see straight down into the clear water and watch dolphins playing in the afternoons or MANTA RAY (harmless) gliding across the ocean floor. We even saw an endangered species MANATEE once (they eat plants). The kids love to spot and identify the inhabitants of the sea.
We have a cafe table, four chairs, a lounge chair and a side table on our deck for you to relax, read or even share a meal. Our cafe chairs on the balcony are great for a view over the tall, sturdy railing but are not meant for use by small children that are unsupervised. Please, see photo of balcony chairs to determine if you think this would be a problem for you. Most guests do not find them to be a problem, but see for yourself.
Our condo/second home is next to the elevators. Celadon only has nine units per floor and the elevators are located in the middle of the building so there is not a lot of foot traffic in front of our condo. You can take about ten steps and be from our door to one of the three elevators. You can then take the elevator all the way down to the ground floor and be about ten steps from the boardwalk that leads directly to the sand. Being close to the elevator is also a plus if you have someone in your party that has MOBILITY PROBLEMS. You can drive them to the front of the main building and it is only a few steps or feet to the elevator from there, then up to our floor and you can have them in the door of of our unit quite easily.
We have been told that our home is very comfortable with amazing views. Please, come try it for yourself. We would appreciate it!

Panama City Beach is on the beautiful white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle area of Florida.
Celadon is on the West End of the Beach "West is Best" to be away from the crowds and traffic. This is also known as the family end of the beach. We truly are west end, others just CLAIM to be!

We have arrived back in Michigan after staying at your condo for a week. I cannot express how pleased we were with the accommodations. From the second we arrived until we left, we were nothing but happy. I will list all of the things that impressed us:
The parking garage was convenient and our vehicle was safe and shielded from the sun.
Having a code to enter the door saved a lot of hassle with keys.
The beds were comfortable, including the bunk beds that our boys slept in.
The kitchen afforded us the luxury of eating some of our meals there, instead of at a restaurant.
The condo was super quiet. We never heard a noise from any other occupants while we were inside.
The furnishings are very nice, with pleasing decor.
The balcony on the 20th floor gave us beautiful views, yet we had complete privacy.
The washer and dryer spared us from having a week's worth of laundry upon returning home.
We lucked out with weather, making it easy to enjoy both the beach and the pool. Each night, our boys swam in the indoor portion of the pool. We spent a good deal of each day in the absolutely perfect water of the Gulf.
It is very true that the Celadon being on the west end of Panama City Beach is part of its greatest appeal. It was Spring Break while we were there and there were many, many young adults/teens who were in town. In the evenings, any place east of us was packed with people. Yet, being where we were, we never had one problem with unruly Spring Breakers.
You may know by now that I broke your coffee pot. I am so sorry about that. We would have bought a new one to leave there, but it happened as we were leaving in the very early morning on our checkout day. I was washing it after my making my final pot and it slipped out of my hand. Please let me how I can compensate for this, perhaps you can take the cost out of the refundable deposit we made. Again, I am so sorry about that.
Once more, thank you so much for the opportunity to rent from you. You have such a lovely condo and it proved to be the best, most luxurious accommodations that we have ever had on vacation. It made it extra hard to come back to Michigan where, by the way, it is now snowing!

I will send you a picture as soon as I get them developed. As you know we originally talked about leaving the 18th but with my husbands work he was not sure if he could get off. We discussed when we were at the beach that if we would have waited until the 19th to leave, we would have only had a little while at the beach. We truly enjoyed this vacation.
I hope that the weather is as pretty for you in November as it was for us. I don't think it has ever been as beautiful as it was. You could truly see out to the sand bar and we also saw dolphins.
Let me know what your rates are for the summer...we can't wait to go down again!!!!!

The subject line says it all! The condo is extremely
comfortable, the kitchen better equipped than we would have
expected. I was surprised by the total privacy of the
balcony .
And as you can see, I am happily on line. Xxxxxxx has spent a lot of time exploring via binoculars. We're looking forward to our first walk on the beach . My only complaint is that your king bed is TOO comfortable, so the vacation cost will include new bed when we get home!

We just got back home and I wanted to let you know that the condo was absolutely perfect! Everything was so convenient and comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to rent it. You have certainly thought of everything to make this condo a great vacation getaway.
The view of the Gulf is beautiful. We did not have binoculars, but we still could see dolphins, large fish, sea turtles, and rays. We used our own chairs instead of the stationary ones and it was a good decision to do so. I put my chair up to the water and the waves felt great. The close elevators were very helpful, since I have limited mobility. We did not want to leave this morning, but we did pry ourselves away at 11:00 am. I left a load of towels in the dryer because they were still damp.
If the opportunity arises, we would love to rent from you again. I will get your keys in the mail by Monday.

Yes, you may use my email for a guest entry. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the beach, the large selection of restaurants, the shops, and DVD's at night. We went to Destin to the outlet center and the "commons" shops. We saw the alligators and sharks at Alvin's Island. One day while I was writing postcards to my grandchildren, four jets passed right in front of the balcony. It was amazing.
