It's time to take a break at Horizon South a gated community in Panama City Beach. Our lovely two bedroom condo has wonderful views and is just steps to the Gulf of Mexico. Horizon South has lush landscaping, putt putt golf, shuffle board, 4 pools, hot tub and tennis courts for your vacation enjoyment. Our clean and roomy condo sleeps 7 with two bedrooms and one and a half baths. The kitchen offers all the little extras a family could want or need to fix a nice get together. The living room has cable TV and room to spread out. Of course feel free to use our washer and dryer located right in the condo. Our stay had a few problems- the condo could use some updates it is looking a little worn out- when we got there we found a broken lamp in the closet, the toilet was leaking, the TV in master bedroom was not working due to cable issues, icemaker did not work and the fridge had a broken shelf in the door, dryer did not completely dry things, and to top it off there was a MOUSE somewhere! We did get the toilet fixed but that was it. Also there are fees to do any activities on site like putt putt or shuffle board. On a good note- the condo is close to one of the pools and a very short walk to the beach :) and 2 nice decks. The kids loved having the "loft" bedroom but the futon was not comfortable so a bed was shared by our 2 kids. We did have a good stay but would have enjoyed it more if the condo had a little better upkeep.

This was a nice place, although it could have been cleaner. Nice access to the beach. The beaches are beautiful!

This nice and clean condo was perfect for our vacation. We really enjoyed it! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook with and more. The 2nd bedroom is a loft (upstairs with no door)that over looks the kitchen and living room area with its own private balcony. Which was a plus, because you can see what color the flag was before you go to the beach? There is a futon couch in the 2nd bedroom that can unfold into a bed. The living room couch can also convert into another bed, if needed. There is a washer and dryer inside the condo, but the dryer took a long time to dry the clothes. That wasn’t a big deal to us, but thought you should know not to over load it. You'll even receive a free leg toning workout because it's on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator. Although I didn't mind the extra exercise, you might want to come prepared because the beach is across the street as well. By the way, the beaches did not have any tar balls and no smell of oil either. The owner of this condo was super cool, very nice and accommodating. However, beware of the lady at the front office. No matter how polite we tried to be, she was rude to us. If you happen to encounter this bitter lady, don't let her sour attitude ruin your vacation. Which reminds me, the internet connection is at the clubhouse, not in the condo itself.

This place is perfect. Very nice and clean, short walk to the beach, very spacious, nice views from both balconies, the huge neon light over the kitchen was sweet, beds were good, steps do get a little old but not a big deal. Management was a little hard to contact sometimes, pretty much never answered the phone but did return messages (sometimes the next day). The whole complex is very well maintained and the residents are very friendly. For the price this place can't be beat.

The rental was much nicer than the pictures show. And it was very close to the beach and pool. The only draw back is that it was on the third floor with no elevator. We'd definitely stay here again.
