"Island Drum" at Calypso 3/3 deluxe amazing views

"Island Drum" at Calypso Resort and Towers is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath deluxe, end unit with the amenities, beauty and comfort desired to create the perfect setting for wonderful vacations. Island Drum is in the East Tower of Calypso. As such, it offers panoramic views of the beach for magnificent morning sunrise as the beach awakens with pelicans, terns and dolphin setting out for the day. The large balcony also provides a great view of the western sunsets and the exciting fireworks show from the City Pier every Saturday night. Getting to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and other great places to eat in Pier Park couldn't be easier since it simply a walk across the street from Calypso. While you're there don't forget to take the children to ride one of the exiciting restored theme park rides or explore the Butterfly Garden. Half Hitch Tackle is one of the vendors set up beach side where you can purchase bait, your own rod and reel or crab net if you're interested in fishing from the pier day or night. You can even rent a rod and tackle on the pier. Although, there is plenty of parking in the gated parking deck attached to the resort by the well lit and covered, pedestrian bridge, you may want to leave your car in the lot and ride the Bay Town Trolley for a liesurely ride through the resorts. The Bay Town Trolley and the Beach Express are easily accessed from Calypso Resort and Towers.

Calypso has two large beach front pools,hot tubs and a motivating high tech exercise room equipped with nautilus equipment and a great view of the Gulf There is also a game room. Purchase beverages and snacks at the Tiki Hut.

Airy and light, "Island Drum" is beautiful and comfortable yet it might seem like window dressing for the awe inspiring views it offers in every direction.
The open space family room has windows or balcony access in every direction.
A bank of windows flank the entire eastern wall of the condo providing excellent beach views from the kitchen, dining room and living room. The dining room is furnished with a buffet table, wet bar and a dining table for six. The kitchen has a unique inverted dome ceiling and a sweeping granite breakfast bar with seating for three. The living room has two large windows facing east and south, and direct access to the furnished balcony. The living room is furnished with a queen size sleeper sofa, 2 casual chairs and a large television.

Off the family room, is the king size master suite with private balcony access and a four piece on suite bath. The king suite has black out drapes, natural and indirect lighting, ceiling fan, quality bedding, walk in closet. There is a television and dvd/vcr player with cable service.

The second bedroom has a great east view of the beach and nearby resorts plus an on suite bath. It has a television with dvd/vcr player and is beautifully decorated with black out drapes, a duvet and bed slip.

The third bedroom, across the hall from the laundry room with full size washer and dryer, is furnished with two twin beds. It also, has a television and dvd,vcr player. The twin bedroom also has private access to the third full bath.

Of course, we hope the sun will be shining every day when you're a guests at "Island Drum" but in case one of the afternoon showers makes an appearance, we have board games, books, toys and wifi in the unit for your enjoyment.
