Tidewater Beach Resort is located at 16819 Front Beach Road about 1/2 mile west of Pier Park. It is 2/10th's of a mile east of the intersection of Front Beach Road and Hwy. 79. It is the most convenient condo to the new International Airport which is located just north of West Bay on Hwy. 388. Tidewater has many amenities including covered parking with a gated entry,security present on site, two outdoor lagoon pools, two hot tubs, an indoor pool, theater, game room, Tiki bar, coffee shoppe, on site restuarant, large fitness center, two Roman spas, seven high speed elevators, stem and sauna rooms in men's room and a separate sauna and steam room for the ladies and 636 feet of beach where you will get the FREE daily beach set(seasonal March 1- October 31) up with your rental. Tidewater Beach Resort is within walking distance of the new Peir Park area (1/2 to the east). This area has the new pier which you can go out on and just enjoy watching others or you can fish. It has a lot of nice restuarants including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, The Back Porch, Ragae J's, Guy Harvey's and Hook's all looking out over the beatiful Gulf of Mexico. There are many other eating establishments including Red Brick Oven Pizza, Quizno.s, Subway, Five Guys, Red Robin, Wild Wings, Marble Slab ice cream and many others. There is also Tootsie's with live entertainment along with all the shops and stores including Ron John's Surf. If you remember the old days of the Miracle Strip Amusement Park: well it is back at Pier Park with some of the old rides refurbished like the ferris wheel, the swings, carousal,etc. No bumper cars or roller coaster if you remember those. There are several restaurants with in walking distance of Tidewater that include Sand Bar and Panama Pizzaria. Fresh seafood is just up the street at Buddie's Seafood and the Winn Dixie is just up the street also. McDonald's and Arby's are almost across the street from Tidewater. Gulf World is about one mile away. Golf courses are also close by. Don't forget the dogtrack at Ebro. Just jump on Hwy 79 and head north 10 miles or so.
