Description of the Panama City Beach vacation townhouse rental

Our townhouse is located in Gulf Highlands Beach Resort in the heart of Panama City Beach, Florida. It is within short walking distance of "the world's most beautiful beaches." The resort features a beach house with swimming pool and clubhouse with restaurant/snackbar located directly on the beach. The resort also includes 10 other swimming pools (some heated), tennis courts (2 lighted), 18-hole miniature golf course, shuffleboard, 24-hour security, and lagoon for fishing. All townhomes are located directly across the street from the beach.

This is a newly remodeled 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath condo that features a queen size bed in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has it's own private balcony with screened in sitting area. The master bedroom also has a new Vizio 26" flat screen LCD HD tv & dvd player. The guest bedroom has a queen bed & twin bed along with a new 24" flat screen tv & dvd player.

There is 40" LCD HD tv & dvd in the living room along with a queen size sleeper sofa & a 1/2 bath. This condo has a fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer, and grill.

There are 2 dedicated parking spaces located at your front door which makes it easy to unload luggage and groceries. This is an end unit with screened in back deck as well as back patio with furniture and grill.

A golf cart is also available for rental for $150 week. Please inquire if interested.

Area Information

We are within walking distance to the Shoppes at Edgewater & the complex has its own security access gate to the Shoppes at Edgewater (convenience & security of walking without driving or walking on the street) which includes -- Rock-It Lanes bowling alley with arcade, pool tables, skating rink & snack bar. The shopping center also includes Subway, Montego Bay, Cici's Pizza Buffet, FireFly fine dining restaurant (formerly Canopies at different location), and several shops and restaurants.

We are also within walking distance to Super Wal-Mart, Saltwater Grille, Applebee's, BackYard Burger, Sonic, Publix, Dairy Queen, Zaxby's, and several other shops & restaurants. We are in close proximity to Spinnakers, Club La Vela, Pineapple Willie's, Frank Brown Softball Complex, Pier Park, Gulf World, Shipwreck Water Park, Zoo World, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Captain Andersons, Schooners, BoatYard, Sharkys, Shuckums, BoneFish, Carrabba's Italian, Marriott Bay Point Resort & Yacht Club, LongHorn's, and several golf courses.

Making Memories In Panama City

In June of 2011, our family of seven headed to Paname City Beach for some fun in the sun. We had found the perfect locaton with wonderful and very helpful owners the year before and couldn't wait to return this year. 101 Cindy Lane located in the Gulf Highlands Beach Resort in Panama City is right in the middle of everything. It is so convenient! There are restuarants and stores and all kinds of activities all around, and the best thing about it is that the beach is only a 5-10 minute walk from the townhouse. When you enter the resort, 101 Cindy Lane is right around the corner. One of the things I liked most was that it was like a home away from home. You don't have to park in a parking garage and go check in and ride elevators. You park directly in front with 2 private parking spaces with keys in hand. There is even a space for a golf cart. The keys are mailed to you with all the information you need including gate passes that you place in your vehicles. I also liked the fact that the resort is gated and manned 24 hours a day seven days a week. I have to say we had the time of our lives! 101 Cindy was perfect for our family. When you step in, you feel like you are at the beach. Even the front door is decorated with fish! It was really a plus to find that they had added a brand new bathroom upstairs in the master bedroom with a shower. That really helped especially coming back from the beach and everyone wanting to get cleaned up at the same time! Our large family had plenty of room in this townhouse. It was convenient having a full kitchen. There were plenty of beds and plenty of seating with a bar/barstools and a dining room and living room. The sofa is also a queen sleeper. The laundry room was also a plus for washing towels and bathing suits. The resort is nicely maintained and has lots of pretty palm trees and many swimming pools- some are heated. There is also a putt-putt course that my kids had fun playing. Nearby are streams with fish and turtles that we fed with bread. The kids loved that! Our fondest memories are of going to the beach in the late afternoon. We stayed til dark. Scenery was breathtaking! I sat in the water close to shore. The waves gently rolled over me as the sun was setting on my right and the moon was appearing on my left. We all worked together building sandcastles until it overtook a huge portion of the beach.. The kids are still talking about our trip and can't wait til next year!
