Area Description

In the neighborhood, buy your French baguette as it comes out of the oven from the bakery down the street, some fresh cheese from the cheese shop, a roasted chicken from the local rotisserie. You'll also be able to take advantage of the fresh fruit and vegetable markets on a daily basis, supermarkets, local French and international cuisine restaurants, all a stone's throw from the apartment.

At the foot of Montmartre, wander from your new Parisian home to the heart of the village and through its winding, cobblestone streets. Just steps away from the metro, multiple bus lines as well as the now famous bike rental "Vélib'", you also can visit very easily (and very quickly!) all the other Parisian neighborhoods, monuments and attractions: Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra Garnier, the Marais, Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Louvre, ... just to name a few!

If it’s activities you are looking for, the public pool, gym, movie theaters, ice skating rink, nightclubs, bowling, tennis courts and even a spa are all in easy reach.

Two of the more not-so-well-known treasures in Paris are also 5 minutes away: the largest antique (Marché aux Puces de Saint Ouen) and textile (Marché Saint Pierre) markets in the world.
