Description of the Paris vacation apartment rental

UNIQUE LOCATION: Very charming vacation apartment, ideally situated in the historic artist quarter Paris Montmartre. In front of the house-door you can watch the artists on the Place du Tertre painting or sketching portraits, enjoy Restaurants, Cafes, Cabarets, Museums, Artist Galleries and Studios. Sacre Coeur basilica and all the other vistapoints, are offering the most beautiful views over all of Paris.
25m2, 2 rooms, without separation door, sleeps 1 to 3 persons. The self catering accommodation is located in the secured ground floor (USA 1 floor), facing a charming, cobblestoned and quiet courtyard, where you can sit outside in the warm periods. The flat is tastefully decorated and very well equipped with lots of love, to make your stay in Paris an unforgettable event.

Area Description

Directly in front of the housedoor, is the "Place du Tertre", with it's street-Artists and Portrait painters. In the direct neighborhood are Artist-Studios, Galleries, Montmartre Museum and Espace Dali, Music-Halls, Theaters, Cabarets like Moulin-Rouge and Lapin Agile, Theaters, Cinemas, the Windmills, Montmartre-Cemetery, the only vineyard of Paris, Restaurants, Cafés, the shopping area and marked Lepic/Abbesses, with individual and artistic little shops, Marche St. Pierre - Paris largest fabric Market, the world-largest Flea- and Antique market in St.Ouen.

Montmartre is a very artistic quarter in Paris, with its tiny cobble stoned streets and a real village atmosphere. Around the corner from the Apartment, you will discover Picasso's Studio and living Quarters "le Bateau Lavoir", or Renoir's home "Le Chateau Des Brouillards". Quiet in the middle of everything, April 24, 2008

Clean,modernized and just right for 2. Very well supplied with dishes,pots,etc. Steps away from restaurants,bars but extremely quiet with lovely peaceful garden area. Grocery shopping a bit far,so use buses so you don't have to drag everything up all those steps up the Monte. Great place, I recommend highly.

We had a great time staying in this apartment, which is a stone's throw from Sacre Coeur, the Place du Tertre, the Montmartre Funiculaire...and the breathtaking view over Paris. I'd recommend the apartment to any couple. It's pleasant, clean and central. We were welcomed at the apartment and shown around. The only thing missing is a dishwasher (but who's eating in when you have all of Montmartre at your feet?).

clean and very comfortable

we have enjoyed our stay in your apartment very much. We found it clean and very comfortable. It is placed in and ideal spot for tourists seeing Paris. We will not hesitate to recommend it anyone. The only draw back is - the buns in the yard are emptied every morning at 5.30 am and the noise of them being dragged across the yard is very noisy. Thank you

Good basic accommodation with everything you could want. (eg. hairdryer, washing machine etc.) Good location - surprisingly quiet given it is so close to tourist area of Place du Tertre. Clean and comfortable bed - a lot of thought has gone into what you might need or want to use on vacation

Very nice location!

This apartment was cosy and perfect for the 2 of us. The size was much larger than a hotel room. The location was very nice - getting up and down the hill was tricky at times. The courtyard was charming and we felt very safe. The location was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the rental of a vacation apartment to anyone, who prefers a large space, than a hotel room, with many more conveniences of home
