Beautiful and recently renovated studio/one bedroom apartment in 10e arrondissement in Paris, for short term rental. Close to Gare de l'Est, Canal St Martin ( where parts of "Amelie" were filmed). Great public transport connections (metro, bus, trains) and central location. Exposed beams, exposed chimney breast, original oak floors, turn of the century building. Plants and lots of natural light - a window on either side. Typical Parisian views on rooftops.

Wonderful, interesting, relatively un-touristy area of Paris to discover. A food lover's paradise! Tons of great restaurants just down the street, including two very famous Art Nouveau Brasseries: Brasserie Flo and Julien. Foie Gras shop (cheapest and best in Paris!), specialty Cheese shops, fresh produce, boulangeries and amazing patisseries. The indoor Market "Marche St. Quentin" is two minutes by foot and the organic indoor market "Marche St Martin" is 10 minutes.

Five minute walk to Canal St. Martin, a beautiful, hip and vibrant area of Paris set along the 19th century locks of a tree-lined canal. Wine bars, trendy cafes, picnics by the water, good shopping.
