Well, we are back...tired but sooooo happy with our trip ! We were very happy with your apartment. The location is just fantastic. We became very adept at using the Metro and traveled all around on it.......much smarter than taxi fare.
Again, thank you so much for the use of your apartment. I am sure that, with your permission, we will use it again soon for our NEXT Paris trip.

Thanks for staying on top of all this. You're a good landlord. It's
delightful to have this small, central apt, rather than staying in a
hotel.
Your internet connection here is better than my rural DSL
connection at home. I'm glad you advised me to bring my computer.
We've already used it to look up the schedule at the Comedie Francaise
(Jim is a prof of theater and a classics scholar) and to get tickets
for Friday night.

We loved the apartment and the location. We had a fabulous week.
What a city, what great people. This is our seventh visit to Paris. When we go again, you will be hearing from us. It was a wonderful experience to be in an apartment. And in the Marais no less. We walked all the streets. We found your list of restaurants and museums a wonder addition to our stay.

Visit your frontyard and see Ile St Louis and its great shops.
Ran out of time. Try the restaurant �L'Endroit� . It's down this way from Bastille and the best meal we have had anywhere.

Alix,
There is just too much food around to use the beautiful kitchen in the flat. It was hard to leave. Paris is wonderful, the people have been very nice, the flat is perfect, and the food and sights are virtually incomparable.
Thank You! for clueing us in on the Metro strike and calling us a cab. It was greatly appreciated. For general information the cab was 55 euros to the airport. The traffic was bad only in the immediate city.
We really enjoyed the stay in the flat and in Paris. Best,

Just an update. We're having a wonderful time. It was rainy the first few days but the Sun has come out. The Paris Marathon just ran past our street up Rivoli. Thank you again for letting us rent your flat. It's perfect.

We all enjoyed our apartment so much! Often we would remark on the fabulous location, the apartment's wonderful facilities and home-away-from-home atmosphere, and on how we'd love to recommend it to our friends! Being able to communicate with Alix and Florence over the month was great too. We have left a few brochures and found that the apartment's literature for Paris was a constant soure of inspiration and information.
