Description of the Park City vacation home rental
Our home rests on 8 acres overlooking the entire Park City basin with wonderful hiking, biking skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing right out the front door. We are located 10 minutes from Kimbal Junction and 15 minutes from Main Street. This home would be perfect for a family or corporate retreat. Our home is 9000 aquare feet under roof, there are 6 bedrooms 5 1/2 baths,two masters, two kitchens, spacious great room and gourmet kitchen. Our home was built in 2011 and is constructed of reclaimed barnwood inside and out . This mountain retreat is truely reminescent of the old lodges of Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. High vaulted ceilings anchored with Turn buckle trusses frame the ceilings that give way to sweeping views of entire Wasatch back.
Area Information
Our house is located in Park CIty, Utah on 8 acres overlooking the entire Park City Basin. Our neighborhood is located just north of Park CIty and consists of 105 lots all 10 acres, the entire property is 1500 acres surrounded by thousands of acres of private land. WIth multiple trails and gated private roads your access to the forest is plentiful and you have it all to you and your family. Our private trails connect to the trail system of Park CIty giving you access to over 350 miles of biking or hiking.
Snowmobiling and off road vehicle tours can also be provided. We have miles and miles of private roads that turn into snowmobiling heaven in the winter. Endless untracked powder can be a daily occurance when we get iinto our Wasatch storm cycle offering excellent riding, snowshoeing, or skiing experiences . All of these wilderness adventures begin and end at your driveway!!
Elk, moose and deer are more common than people. Some of the wildlife year around on the property consists of bald eagles, red tail hawks, ermines, porcupines, tons of elk, moose and deer, and the occasional bobcat. SIt and swing on the deck and watch the wildlife come for their morning drink under the Wests bluest skies filled with hot air balloons. A short 15 minute car ride and you are at any of three world class ski resorts, Sundance Film Festival, Park City Main Street, galleries, theatres and more.
