Description of the Parksville vacation cottage rental

Peacefully nestled in a forest, surrounded by beautiful cedars and Douglas firs, our custom-built cedar home B & B and our spacious fully equipped self-contained cottage are located on 5 acres (2 hectares) in Errington, between Qualicum Beach and Parksville on Central Vancouver Island.

Waking up after a refreshing sleep,zip your coffee in the morning on your covered patio deck while listening to the birds.
If you don't feel like cooking, let us offer you a delicious hot breakfast,made whenever possible with organic seasonal fresh produce from our garden,our free range chickens provide us with daily fresh eggs.

Surrounding the community of Errington is one of Vancouver Island's best kept secrets. Englishman River Park, provincial park is renowned for its wilderness, waterfalls and wildlife.

The recreational opportunities are numerous and include, hiking, sight seeing, horseback riding swimming, beaches, salmon fishing, bear- whale watching, golfing, to name a few. Children like to explore Tigerlily farm a petting zoo or a visit to the North Island Wild Life Recovery Center.
The Errington Farmersmarket every Saturday in the summer is our social meeting place and a must do while here.

After enjoying the hiking trails in the vicinity, a refreshing dip in the Englishman River or discovering Vancouver Island €™s beautiful sandy beaches and hidden treasures,relax among ancient cedars rhodo's and tall douglas trees.

This cabin is well-appointed and more spacious than the pictures suggest. A combination of modern and rustic in fine balance. We welcomed the surroundings and the warm hospitality of our hosts, even though they respected the privacy and semi-seclusion of the cabin from the main house. This is a very pleasant place to relax and recuperate, as the local attractions all require a short drive. Englishman River Falls is a beautiful spot and not to be missed. There is so much to do within an hours' drive that we needed another week or more to see more of the spectacular. Lovers of the outdoors will be happy with this base camp, as there are many great hikes and points of interest nearby.
