Total privacy greets you on this 3/4 acre waterfront property on Nova Scotia's beautiful Bay of Fundy. This hand crafted, open concept all-season real log cottage has stunning views of the world’s highest tides and the beautiful Two Islands.

The property is cleared, leveled and treed for privacy with the waterfront surrounding you within approx. 20 ft. from the deck.

Area Information

There are numerous trails to the beach with spectacular views of the Minas Basin. Across the water from the cottage is where the smallest dinosaur fossils in the world were discovered. Hike the shoreline and discover local treasures that attract tourists and geologists from all over the world.

There is also waterfalls and a creek just across the water where locals & tourist like to swim and relax on hot summer days. Bring your bass fishing pole and fish incoming tide for sea bass just in front of the cottage.

Just a 10 minute drive to grocery store, restaurants, Fundy Geological Museum, Ships Company Live Theater and all other local tourist attractions.

One hundred billion tonnes of sea water flow in and out of the Bay of Fundy twice daily – more water than the combined flow of all the world’s fresh water rivers. Fundy’s extreme tides create a dynamic and diverse marine ecosystem. The Bay is renowned for its coastal rock formations, extreme tidal effects (vertical, horizontal, rapids and bores) and sustainable coastal development. It is also a critical international feeding ground for migratory birds, a vibrant habitat for rare and endangered Right whales, and one of the world’s most significant plant and animal fossil discovery regions.

The shoreline is rocky, but you will find a small pebbly beach area for swimming. Bring your pitchfork and a bucket and enjoy your own freshly pecked clams cooked on the open fire for a peaceful clam boil under the stars.

Ceder Cove log cabin

Dale was wonderful and thoughtful and had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin is simply amazing and the privet beach is just something that you need to see. The tide in the cove is always changing and the views are amazing with the cliffs and rock formations. We had a great deal of fun exploring and clamming when the tide was out. In the town of Parrsboro there is a geological museum that was interesting to see. I never expected it to be so perfect. If you like piece and quiet you will love this place. This is a piece of paradise. I will say that if you have small children there is a cliff and Dale does have it fenced off you will need to keep an eye out. I can’t wait to go back. Dale thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

amazing tides

We recently rented this cottage on the Bay of Fundy. If you have never been you will be as amazed as I was. The property is located 30 feet above a cove that changes almost minute by minute. The tide comes in and fills it up and then it's like someone pulls a plug in the tub and it all draina away. Incredible. The beach is just a five minute walk and very private. Take a walk right on the beach and see some amazing rock formations. Amazing scenery..it's easy to see why they are calling the Bay of Fundy "the eighth wonder of the world. The cottage itself was equipped with every convenience and except for our food and clothes there was nothing else we needed to bring. There was a view from every deck and plenty of outdoor sitting. We took our dog and she had a great time. The location is very private. Because of the drop to the cove I wouldn't recommend it for parents with young children but for everyone else it is the place to be in August in Nova Scotia. Thanks Dale we had a wonderful vacation.
