This Beautiful Architectually Significant 1952 Case Study Mid Century Modern Home is located on the hillside in the Rosebowl area of Pasadena, California. The location is key. It is completely surrounded by nature and is unique in the privacy that it provides. This home has been modernize within the past couple of years. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 newly renovated bathrooms & newly renovated Modern kitchen w/ top of the line appliances.The main floor overlooks and surrounds the original pool. There is a cozy cabana off the poolside. There are 2 decks that are perched out over the canyon below. There is an original fireplace in the living room and floor to ceiling glass panel that make up half the room. Vienna wood floor and original Terrazzo Flooring throughout.This one must be viewed in person to recieve the full effect.

This home is nestled within a private canyon in the Rosebowl area of Pasadena, California. It is within walking distance to the Rosebowl for games,events and fleamarket(2nd sunday of the month. A short 5 minute drive to Old Town Pasadena for Dining,Shopping, Movies, Museums and Groceries.It is a great base for exploring nearby Los Angeles and just far away enough to get lost in the serenity of the natural landscape that surrounds this beautiful Zen Hideaway. A fireplace keeps you warm on those cool nights. Beds are situated on the covered balconies to sleep under the stars and be one with nature as if in a Modern Treehouse. Secluded luxury

Our family of four stayed in this beautiful home for a week of R and R. Although it is located less than five minutes from Old Town Pasadena, the house has an isolated feel. There are no close neighbors within view. Our two children loved the pool and enjoyed the trails and wildlife on the property. We spotted a mother and baby dear, a falcon, and numerous rabbits from the upper sleeping balcony. The home is tastefully and artistically decorated and has a wonderful, open floor plan with plenty of light and warmth. We would certainly return to this delightful home. The house is located close to Hollywood, Universal Studios, the LA Zoo, Eaton Canyon and other attractions. Old Town Pasadena has great shopping, theaters and dining. We enjoyed the Gold Class Cinema where we were served dinner with the movie. We recommend this house to all those who want to be close to the city without feeling confined and crowed.

Secluded and Tranquil.

We arrived from Rochester, NY on Friday and stayed at this Wonderful Oasis while visiting for a family wedding. Our spacious new home was so quiet and peaceful that we (6 adults and 2 children) had zero jet lag. We were charged up for our niece's wedding the next day. After a full day of ceremonies and dancing, we returned to rest. Although it was Novemeber, we slept outside in the comfortable beds by the pool and on the deck overlooking the canyon. Literally nothing insight except for birds, rabbits and brush along the canyon. Your own private Oasis with clean modern amenities, designer wash rooms, and style beyond imagination. Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for our wonderful stay.

This house was a pleasure to stay in. Wide open spaces both inside and out gave the feeling of living in the clouds or amongst the treetops. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and when there was a minor glitch with the garbage disposal the problem was fixed immediately to effect without missing a beat. Close to downtown Pasadena, convenient location as a home base for any downtown activities.

Amazing peaceful House

This house was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights including New Years Eve and for the Rose Bowl and it was nothing short of what we expected. The pictures describe the house perfectly and the house was in a great location. Very peaceful and quiet. Sleeping under the stars was an enjoyable pleasure. Great amenities. I would recommend this house to any and everyone. Enjoy the tree house, the houses nickname.
