Perfect Stay in Every Way
April 19, 2015
Our Pawleys Island vacation was exceptional!! This villa offered much more than we expected. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that the unit was clean and well supplied with anything a visitor would need including beach chairs, towels and toys. The beach was only a short drive away. There are restaurants, golf courses and shopping all around. We are already planning our next visit and will stay here again.

This rental was really fabulous. Pictures on the site look great but they don't do it the total justice. It is even more impressive when you are there with great views of the fairway, a wonderful screen room and patio and everything you could ask for stocked in the place. The beds were extremely comfortable and the place was quiet and easy access to all the things we wanted to do like golf, shopping and great restaurants. Don't miss Caledonia or True Blue in addition to the course the rental villa is on. All great place! And the restaurants that are all nearby were great. We especially loved Landolfi for pizza and Quigleys for down home cooking and great micro beers. The owners were very helpful and we can't thank them enough for their suggestions and concerns for us to enjoy our time in this great villa and great vacation destination of Pawleys Island. Ray & Corrina S.

We highly recommend this property that exceeded our expectations in every way with so many special touches and amenities to make us feel at home. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and obvious the owners put a lot of thought and love into the place. We easily made ourselves at "home" for the week and it was hard to say good-bye. It was our first trip to Pawleys Island but definitely won't be our last. Hopefully we can return again soon. It was wonderful. It was too chilly to swim of course, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beaches to stroll and watch the "world go by". The restaurants and golf were superb and like so many others noted, the owners are caring and thoughtful, making sure our plans were tailor made for us to find the most ideal places for our personal likes and dislikes for golf, sightseeing, shopping, eating and other activities. This vacation ranks high, high, high on our list to be sure. Thank you again for everything, Tim & Katia

This was one of the best vacations our group has taken and we've been on a lot of trips in the 15+ years we've been vacationing together. This place was more than we imagined for the six of us (three couples). Everyone had private quarters that were so comfortable, excellent decorated, great beds and we each had tv and dvd in the bedrooms as well as in the great room. For the ladies it was a real treat that we each had our own private sink to get ready which was just amazing. Even at home I have to share the bathroom sink with my husband! Pawleys Island had so much to offer and we enjoyed the delicious food. Some of the favorites of all six of us were Landolfi's pizza with their homemade desserts. This is a must we just have to do again for our next time, but we'll go a little earlier in the night to make sure all the choices of the desserts are available. They sell out which is not surprising. We also loved Divines Fish House on the marshwalk. And you also don't want to miss Chive Blossoms. The menu was just wonderful and everyone raved about their meals. The villa owners were so nice and very attentive. They helped direct us to just the right places to eat and just the right places to golf for our skill and what we were looking for that made our trip so special. We all look forward to returning to Pawleys Island and especially this villa. Thank you so much for everything. Marcia & Dave, Julie & Brandon and Chloe & Dennis
Excellent Stay at this Property

Everything about this property was excellent with comforts and amenities galore. It's really in a terrific location. We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was and a relaxing way to start our mornings. The screen room was our favorite way to ease into the day by watching the golfers and enjoying our morning coffee. The property was very large and well laid out so we could be together easily but everyone also had private places to retreat when they wanted to read or play games and it was very helpful that they had 4 TVs and 4 DVD players. That was great to let the kids put in a movie so we could prepare for the next day activites, make meals or relax and the kids were happy. We would definitely recommend this vacation property. Our hosts were attentive to our questions and helped provide us with vital info they were familiar with for just exactly the kind of things we were looking for. Grateful parents Nick & Belinda and our happy kids, Bella, Caitlyn & Josh.
Great Time Had By All ----- Thank You!!

The property was better than the site. The pictures are very nice but can only show just one vantage and they don't really give an idea of the touches through the property. It definitely has the wow factor for a vacation rental. The painted letters welcoming guests to have a special day stretches along the whole wall in the screen room and were really great. Anne was so impressed how they were done she wanted to know where the owners got them to get some for our home and we discovered the owner actually hand painted them herself to match the colorful furniture in the room!! The rental is obviously a 'labor of love' and we loved it too. The place was so clean, obviously well maintained and decorated so nicely in every room. We were very comfortable in every room of the place. The secured wi-fi was helpful having that in the villa because we had to conduct some important business while we there and there was even wi-fi at the pool to enjoy too. Wow!! The trip was made even more great in large part for all the time the owners spent with us before we even got to Pawleys Island for our vacation (and after too) just to help personalize all the things we wanted to do. The owners were great and we can't wait to come back. Thank you. The Wards from Shelby, Ohio.

This was a very clean and comfortable villa with everything our family needed. It was the first time we stayed at home away and we had a great experience with this property. Pawleys Island was a wonderful destination for our family with so much to do and see. Valerie loved shops in the area and the kids had fun at the pools and beach. And the family was having so much fun they didn't mind I could slip away a few days to play some of the great golf courses in the area. The owners were attentive and made us welcome and helped our family find just what we were looking for the best attractions and restaurants. There is so much to do here we couldn't do everything possibly in one vacation and looking forward to make it our family ritual. Thank you from the Collins Family - Brad & Val - Zach, Max & Emma.

We travel often and stayed in many lodgings that gives us a lot to compare this rental to and this place was really great and made us feel welcome right away. From the minute we walked in we knew it was no ordinary rental. Like others have commented, everything was very comfortable and clean and it was immmediately obvious the owners thought of making sure it had everything guests would need on vacation and other extra things just to make our stay better. We were really impressed that all the cooking things were the best quality and stainless and super clean so we actually felt like cooking breakfasts and some other meals at "home" unlike other places where all the kitchen things are so so at best and the beds were wonderful too, but they even had things like flashlights, night lights and air fresheners in the bathrooms, and postcards and things like that you'd never expect in a vacation rental, but they sure did come in handy. We were really grateful especially for all the beach equipment that we made great use of (and didn't have to buy there or pack some of our own that we usually haul back and forth and get sand in our vehicles). And thank you also for all the tips for where to eat because we had some terrific meals and we loved the walks and the marsh in Murrells Inlet and the music on the decks. That's where we rented the pontoon boat and took the family for a ride that was very nice. The food there is great too. Brookgreen Gardens cool evenings was very nice and relaxing and the grandkids loved the butterfly garden. So did we. Charleston was a great idea and we had a carriage ride that we really enjoyed the history and city as a family. Thank you for some very wonderful memories of our Pawleys Island vacation. Martin and Phyllis from Harlan, VA
Really Wonderful Experience

This was our first trip to Pawleys Island but we've traveled the US and international and stayed in literally hundreds of vacation rentals over 30-some years of family getaways and this villa was just fantastic. Everything the owners have for their guest is high quality and comfortable and it was like staying at a home instead of that rental feeling and it made our vacation experience just wonderful. The master bedroom suite made us feel like royalty and our friends loved the upstairs and the privacy we all had after long days of shelling and walking the beaches, golfing and shopping. We feel blessed to have found this place and can't wait to return to Pawleys Island where there is so much to see and do we couldn't begin to do all the things on our list in a week. Brookgreen Gardens was spectacular and the eating places nearby were great too. We just loved this vacation and thank the owners for all their help with ideas and directions to just exactly the kinds of things to do that we were looking for.

The Villa was much more than expected. Everything was so clean and neat and the information and directions sent were perfect. There is not one thing that was missing. Every detail you can think of was provided. I know if we go back to Myrtle Beach we will stay here.
A Really Great Place to Vacation!!!

Our family had a wonderful time in Pawleys Island and even though we didn't go for a swim in February, it was nice enough weather that we got in quite a lot of time relaxing at the beach and that was so peaceful. We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely decorated and everything was such good quality that you normally don't find like the pillows, fluffy bed comforters, high quality sheets, leather seating, stainless cookware and really nice dishes and silverware. These aren't the kind of things we have generally found in rentals and it was a treat to have things that were nicer than some of what we have at home rather than what many owners put in their units that look like something they got at a rummage sale! Just like others who have stayed here have commented, the property owners were really attentive and so kind to help us with ideas for where to eat, shop, golf and fun things to do and that was appreciated very much too. It saved us a lot of time & money and made for an enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it highly. Janet & Kyle

We had a great time in this vacation villa. It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail and very welcoming. Our hosts were very helpful with directions and ideas for our family and that it made our vacation even more special. We had never been to Pawleys Island before and it's a really wonderful vacation destination with so much to see and do with really great sandy beaches. It was a bit too chilly to swim in the ocean during our stay, but we still loved walking the beaches and picnicking there. It was very peaceful and a great time for our family. We hope to travel there again and highly recommend this villa and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you to our hosts for the kindness and everything to make our vacation so great.

Hats off to the owners of this villa for the incredible attention to detail and an obvious desire to make our stay in Pawleys Island and the villa a wonderful experience. Ours sure was. We read all the reviews before booking, but still thought reviewers must have been at least a little bit overstating facts, but the truth is the other reviews are spot on!!! This place and owners are fabulous. We thank you for everything and hope to be able to return again soon. It's not just one of the best vacations we ever had -- it was the best one.

As soon as we walked in we knew this place was a labor of love of the owners. There's nothing they didn't think of to make our stay wonderful and comfortable. Everything was so clean and well cared for and top notch from the designer beds to the really nice stainless cookware and utensils and all the other thoughtful things to make our stay special. It's more like being at home than in a rental. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for all the great tips and help directing us to the special places for our family. It was like you already knew us and it saved us from wasting time and money at all the tourist traps and made our vacation so memorable. Thank you for the time spent in your wonderful home. What a suprise to step into this most beautiful clean rental that met our every need. Our family enjoyed the beaches, pools and just relaxed. We took day trips to Charleston and enjoyed this historic place. My husband espicially enjoyed the fish markets you recommended. The fish and shrimp were fresh great to eat. The restaurant book was a great help! Thank you for the best vacation rental we have found. Jim and Karen

Okay, I just have to agree with every review that I read before we reserved this place. It is of the most outstanding quality and comfort as to suggest a much more expensive rental villa. There just are not words to express how very happy we were with the incredible hospitality, the beautiful serenity and happy surroundings are so well planned there is no missing how welcome we were as guests. We were so in love with the place that we thought we wanted to move there. However, on examining a couple of other villas that were for sale, well, we found that this is the best place ever! Thank you so much for each attention to detail and for the beautiful setting to relax and enjoy. We fell in love with Pawley's Island. The convenience of nearby Litchfield Beach Resort, Brookgreen Gardens, and historic Georgetown was only icing on the cake for us as we thoroughly delighted in the villa and its joyful, luxurious designer touches. It is the best place ever! Thanks to the excellent hospitality, it was a delight! We really hope to return, AND SOON!
Thank You For Everything!

This home is so amazing, comfortable, well appointed and clean. We couldn't have asked for more and are so blessed to have found such a wonderful place for our vacation. It was so peaceful and relaxing and just what we hoped for. The view of the golf course was an added bonus and the whirlpool was a wonderful treat after long days of golf and sightseeing. The owners treated us like family and so helpful. Thank you for everything! Teresa & Craig

We don't normally write reviews but just had to express how fantastic this vacation place and the owners are. It was more than we hoped for and the first time we stayed at a home away property thanks to friends who book their getaways through the site and suggested it to us. Our experience was so great we'll definitely do it again and there is no place else to stay when in Pawleys Island or the Myrtle Beach area but here. Everything was really top notch, comfortable, very clean and spacious. It was great to have everyone in the big room for chats, cards, games and TV but the way the bedrooms are far away from the others it's private and quiet when you need it to be. We loved biking along the ocean. It was a workout since we hadn't biked in a long time, but it was so much fun. The packable beach chairs and beach umbrellas were such a blessing. We took the chairs to the park, the gardens and the beach and thank the owners so much for suggesting we do because they sure did come in handy! It was the first time we ever vacationed in Pawleys Island and it sure won't be our last. It's a fantastic place with beautiful marshes, parks and gardens, great beaches and shelling, gorgeous sunsets, golf for every skill level, great restaurants, fun little shops and nice people. We absolutely loved it and we're so grateful we found Pawleys Island and this Villa and highly recommend it.

The pictures don't do this villa justice. It is absolutely stunning and so comfortable, quiet and everything is furnished with vacationers in mind. We loved the gated community and the views of the golf course. Coffee in the mornings on the screened in porch was the favorite way to start the day and a dip in the pool to end it. We are so grateful to our wonderful hosts for the great memories and the privilege of calling their home ours for the week. Thank you. We can't wait to return.

This vacation rental is outstanding in every way! It's extremely clean, extremely comfortable, very quiet, has the 'best of the best' wonderful amenities, 'delicious' beds and sheets and very well decorated. It's not often that a place is better than the pictures, but this one is! The layout is great with the bedrooms all away from the others, so it was very private and quiet when we wanted to stay up later and watch TV or chat or sleep in. No one was bothered by the others. We would like to extend a very special thank you to our amazing hosts who spent so much time making sure we had information specially geared just for us and the things we liked to do. I can't tell you how much we truly appreciated that. On so many other vacations, you find yourselves at tourist trap type attractions or eateries and waste precious time and money. We were so grateful for all the clues to the local places to really soak up the great location of Pawleys Island. We already feel like natives. The special book with all the restaurants and their menus was really a nice touch. Yum, yum, yum. It was great to know exactly what you'd find at the places ahead of time. We really loved the pool, the beach, the back patio and screen room to watch the golfers, and the golf courses in the area are to die for! We absolutely loved our time there, hated to leave and can't wait to return next year.
Highly Recommend This Villa And Pawleys Island

This villa is exceptional and so are the owners!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and so clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We just loved our time there and felt like we were royalty. It was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The villa and the area inside the gated community were so peaceful and quiet and having our morning coffee on the screened porch was one of our favorite things to do while we planned our days activities. Just relaxing and watching the golfers and wildlife was so nice. I especially enjoyed sitting on the screened porch during the several times it rained in the evening and listening to the tree frogs singing. For those who have never been to the Carolinas or the South, it is really something to hear. The owners were so gracious and helped to make our stay so special. They know the area so well that they could direct us to so many places at the right times based on our mood, what the weather was or when there would be the type of entertainment they knew we'd like or the type of eateries or other activites just perfectly suited for us. You don't want to miss Landolfi's for personal pizza, delicious specials, paninnis, amazing dinner salads and desserts to die for. We especially loved Salt Creek for black angus burgers and homemade soups and great appetizers, down-home meatloaf or turkey dinners with homemade mashed potatoes and especially during their early bird for even greater prices. Divines was are special night out for dining along the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet and was so delicious and the time we spent having our after dinner drinks and dessert on the outdoor lounge area was something we wouldn't have done if not for our hosts suggesting it. It was so romantic and just perfect. Strolling the pier there on a warm summer night with all the different little places with live music was fun for people of all ages. And, lunch at the Pavillion restaurant after our pontoon ride down the Waccamaw River at the Brookgreen gardens was a wonderful experience too. Be sure to go early in your trip, because the tickets for Brookgreen are good for multiple entries to the gardens and all the great activities on different days. The music and plays during the summers evenings were great! We can't thank our wonderful hosts enough for helping to make our time in their beautiful home so wonderful, and for directing us to all the best places at the right times. We are looking forward to the next time.

The description and pictures of this villa can't compare to actually being there. It's exceptionally decorated and the kitchen has the best of everything, unlike most places with all the scratched up 'hand-me-downs' -- They have all the nice stainless pots and pans and nice silverware and utensils - and everything you could need is there. It's by far the cleanest and best maintained vacation rental place we've stayed in --and we've stayed in a lot of them! The bedding is just dreamy with lofty, soft comforters and duvets -- the leather couch and recliner are really comfy. The view of the golf course is really great from the living room, master bedroom and the kitchen and dining room, but it's especially great from the cute little screen room and the huge patio with the big patio table and lounge chairs. We spent so much time there just relaxing and watching the wild life and golfers. The layout is perfect so we could all be together for meals and TV watching and other activities when we wanted to, but the bedrooms and loft area are all separate, so when we needed our privacy or were on different sleep schedules, it was perfect! The whirpool in the master suite is so soothing and really came in handy after golf -- and so is the pool. The entire place is just like a "home away from home". It's tucked away off the main drag, so you need a car -- but it's worth the little drive into the gated community on the golf course. It's so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. And, when you want to head out to the crowds, you can get there in a couple minutes -- but coming "home" to the peace and quiet of the villa after a long day of activities is just so wonderful! The owners were very, very nice and so patient and helpful with every little question we had. They were genuinely interested in making our stay special. They helped with so many amazing and thoughtful suggestions which we otherwise wouldn't have known about -- from numerous restaurants and get-away places which only the "locals" know about, tips on golf and other special activities you don't find in the typical little advertising pamphlets. The owners also put together a special restaurant book with favorite places in the area, complete with menus, so we didn't have to waste time or money going to places we didn't like. We received our security deposit back within a week after we left. We've already arranged to spend our next family vacation there and we're counting the days until we can go back.
