Description of the Peebles vacation cabin rental

Get away from it all at this three bedroom, two bath secluded cabin in the woods one hour east of Cincinnati in Adams County. Family owned and operated on a large farm, this is the perfect cabin for a family vacation or weekend hunting retreat. Built in 2009 and fully furnished, you will have all the comforts of home. An inviting porch swing waits for you on the covered front porch. Spend your nights gathered around the campfire. This property is located three miles from Tranquility Wildlife area with 3500 acres available for all your hunting and fishing needs. There is no hunting allowed at the cabin; however there is a private fishing pond just a short walk away. Bass over 15" are catch and release ONLY!

Beautiful!

The cabin was great. Clean and homey, plenty of firewood for the wood stove. We are rejuvenated! We walked the fields, watched the sunsets and the stars. We also visited Serpent Mound. We highly recommend this cabin, and we will be back to visit soon!

Peaceful retreat

This cabin has everything you might need and more! Very cozy while offering all the modern conveniences. My favorite part is the porch swing and outdoor firepit. We loved our peaceful walk along the trail - wish we could've stayed longer (... like, forever!) We will be back soon! The owner patiently waited for us as we drove from Milwaukee. We came down to visit Serpent Mound. I cannot wait to be back - the area is much like Northern Wisconsin, and we felt so much at home, the cabin was the perfect place to rest and relax. Very clean. Thanks to the family for sharing their beautiful home with us!

Very Pleasant Stay

This cottage has a nice "camp-like" setting. We spent much time relaxing on the front porch in the swing and fished in the nearby pond several times. Also visited Peebles annual street fair, and The Serpent Mound which were each very close to the cottage and worthwhile destinations. My husband, 4 children and I had nice relaxing weekend. Mandy, the owner, is very sweet and accommodating.

Mound view cabin was perfect for our group for our retreat weekend. Amanda went out of her way to welcome us and make our stay wonderful. She even brought us honey and fresh eggs from her family farm! We will definitely stay again!

Great stay even though short!

We stayed 2 nights, less than 48 hrs. but, it was so relaxing, homey and wonderful. Needed more time there, but could not do it, unfortunately...explored the beautiful area, watched TV, napped, and cooked in a kitchen 4 times the size of mine at home.. our dogs loved it, slept like babies, and I cannot wait to go back! Amanda is wonderful as a host!

Perfectly quiet

We couldn't have designed a more suitable space and location if we had done it ourselves. From the unbelievable views of the rolling hills to the mooing of the distant cattle to the breathtaking night skies, we were in paradise. We packed up our cooler with our essentials and bought the rest closeby including some of the best soft serve ice cream anywhere, and spent the week relaxed, rested and calmed, ready to hit the demands of reality again. Amanda was so helpful and pleasant, the cabin and grounds spotless and charming! Even our dog relaxed in the unfamiliar surroundings. Can't wait to come back!

Lots of Space in Quiet Seclusion

What a lovely experience! Amanda had a nice fire burning in the buckstove timed perfectly with our arrival. All the amenities you could ask for and so quiet you can hear the silence. Nestled in wooded farmland with a fishing pond a short walk away although it was a bit cold for that adventure. The stove warmed the areas nicely and when I got a little carried away with feeding the fire, the lovely porch with the swing offered relief. We will be back!

Exceptional Cabin!

I cannot say enough about his cabin! I could live here! Very nice, spotless, and equipped with so much more than most rentals. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They met us there with a fire in the woodstove-such a nice touch. We plan on returning when we can.

We were looking for a place that was in the country with it being quiet and peacful. We found it at the Cabin in the woods back a long country road nestled in the woods. A new cabin that is modern and homey. From the large covered front porch to the warm wood stove, the feeling was great for us to talk and plan for the future without the destractions. The living quaters was great and worked well for 6 people. I would sure recomend staying here to anyone. We will sure book it for next year. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the country charm as well as the modern amenities.
