Description of the Pender Island vacation cottage rental
The best gulf island cottage resort," Currents at Otter Bay" is located only 5 minutes from the ferry on North Pender Island. There are 2 sailings daily from Vancouver (2 hours, 20 minutes) Or, 3 flights daily with Seair from south Terminal for $90 one way to Port Washington on North Pender Island and then only a 10 minute taxi ride to get to the cottage.
The Cottage:
Only 6 years young, in perfect condition, very comfortable design 800 sq ft cottage over 2 levels and very nicely finished inside and out.
300 sq ft sun deck with lovely views
2bedroom (Queen in Master and 2 singles in 2nd bdrm)
2 bath (one & a half)
Fully furnished and fully equipped kitchen
Great SW views towards Saltspring Island
Cottage is only 40 feet from water's edge (mid bank) not a beach
Fully furnished deck w/ bbq & table w/umbrella, 6 chairs and cushions
Gas FP, Insuite laundry, Dishwasher, Microwave,
Linens and Towels included, professionally Cleaned after every stay
Internet (wireline), telephone, cable TV included, DVD player
Living room has a fold out couch to sleep a 5th or 6th person but 4 people is better because its a 2 bedroom cottage.

Area Information
The resort consists of 32 water front cottages and a marina located in a peaceful beautiful setting on North Pender Island. A 9 hole golf course is 5 minutes away. You can rent scooters on site and bicycles on site. Several restaurants and a great village center has shopping, bakery, groceries, liquor store, book store, bank with ATM, drug store, book store, yoga studio and ladies clothing store. All this is available and only 10 to 15 minutes away by car or scooter.
The island also has a famous frisbee golf course in the forest. There are numerous hikes on the island up to elevations of 2000 feet giving amazing views of all the islands and the waters and straights.
