Description of the Penetanguishene vacation cottage rental

Very comfortable cottage with sandy beach and gradual slope into the lake for kids to play. Cottage has three bedrooms, 1 queen, 1 double with single bunk on top and 1 double pull out in third bedroom. Bathroom has stand up shower, toilet and sink. Galley style kitchen has all the necessities and a few extras! The living / eating area has table and chairs for 6 as well as a full sofa, love seat and chair along with a gas fireplace if needed. Sliding doors off of the living room lead to a nice deck with a couple of steps down to the sandy beach. Outdoor furniture on the front deck and back patio with a BBQ located on the back patio off of the kitchen.

Area Information

Our cottage is located less than 2 hours north of Toronto near Penetang and Midland in fact we are 8 minutes to Tim Hortons! There are plenty of stores for groceries etc. including Food Basics, Canadian Superstore and a super WalMart. Canadian Tire, M & M's, LCBO, and The Beer Store are all close by as well. The main streets in Penatang as well as Midland are great for browsing.

We rented from Kelly and Terry in August and had an amazing time. The cottage has all the comforts of home and the fire pit was awesome. The lake was really warm but kind of mucky at the end of the dock.
