Description of the Pensacola Beach vacation condo rental

Enjoy a fun, carefree family vacation at Baywatch. Baywatch is an 3 level, 87-unit, family-oriented condominium complex located on beautiful Santa Rosa Island (Pensacola Beach) between the Gulf of Mexico on the south and Santa Rosa Sound on the north.
Guests enjoy a beautiful new lighted fishing pier, a lagoon covered with a new boardwalk, and a new pool just a few steps from our condo. Recently added was a BBQ grill for owners and renters to enjoy and picnic tables to enjoy your meal while overlooking the beautiful sunset.
Our condo is 2 bedrooms, 2 baths on the 2nd level. The living room/den features a new queen sofabed.
The interior is all new, Lcd-High Def. tv-dvdr.
The master bedroom & den overlooks the lagoon and the Sound. This bedroom features a new pillow top queen bed with down bedding. The master bath has a large marble tub & shower. The 2nd bedroom has a Twin/Queen bunk style bed that overlook the Gulf of Mexico with its own bathroom.
The balcony overlooks the Sound, with a beautiful view of sailboats sailing by, children at play on the private beach and fishermen fishing off of the pier.
Come and watch a fabulous sunset view from the pier and if you're lucky you can watch the dolphins play near the pier, we even have a resident manatee due west of our pier. Consider this your home away from home with many cozy features, bikes & etc. We are available to help you with any of your needs while on vacation.

Area Information

A few miles to the east and west are major sections of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Ft. Pickens is at the west end of the island only .2 mile to the entrance.
Peg Leg Pete's restaurant is within walking distance.
Many other restaurants are less than a mile away.
A free shuttle-trolley runs from a bus stop in front of the condo to the Boardwalk during the summer season every half hour with the trolley stop at the Baywatch entrance.
A walking/bike path is in front of the condo and runs from the west end to the east end of the island.
The beaches are beautiful white sand and accessible by walking across the street or other public access areas.
Our own private beach and pier is steps from our condo.

Great Vacation...

Before we went to Pcola, we were afraid hurricane Isaac was going to ruin our vacation. However, Steve stayed on top of it by updating the weather status and area condition every day after the hurricane made landfall. The weather could not have been more perfect while we were there. The location of the condo was right on the beach and close to restaurants and stores. It also has everything we needed for the long weekend. We plan to visit Pcola every year and will definitely stay there again.

Great place for the price. It is lacking a dining table which would be helpful not only for dining but game playing. Yes I still iron and the iron did not work. Overall it was a great place to stay. The beach and pier access is teriffic. The unit was very clean.

Baywatch A8 was perfect for our vacation! It's an easy walk via a private boardwalk to the gulf as well as to the bay which has a pier suitable for fishing or docking a boat. Not only did we catch fish, but while snorkling, we saw king mackerel, barracuda, a sea turtle and even a squid! This is absolutely the best of both worlds! And there is the added bonus of having Ft Pickens, the Navy Air Base, and the Naval Aviation Museum close by. The condo was everything we'd hoped it would be and even had a large garage for renter's use. The owners were very accommadating and couldn't have been nicer to work with. We stayed at Baywatch and loved the peaceful atmosphere. The beaches are so white and clean and Baywatch has its own private boardwalk pier and beach. The pool is new and just steps from A-8.
