Description of the Perdido Key vacation condo rental

This two bedroom, two bath unit with bunk beds is new on the rental market and privately operated. Located on the 2nd floor of a four story building with elevators. Balcony overlooks pool, hot tub and grilling-picnic area. Each bedroom offers queen size beds with private baths. The full sized kitchen is equipped with all appliances and is fully stocked. Unit includes washer and dryer and all linens. There is plenty of parking just steps from the building and the area is gated. Unit includes wireless internet. This is a non-smoking unit and no pets are allowed.

"Snowbird" clubs startup every winter. Get your state group started to enjoy the fun.

Area Information

Grand Caribbean offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and is adjacent to Johnson Beach which is part of Gulf Islands National Seashore. Great Outdoor Recreation has rated Perdido Key the #1 swimming beach in the USA. Perdido Key is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing beach with all amenities nearby. The Naval Air Station, home of the Blue Angels, and the Naval Museum are within 15 minutes drive and are free to the public. Convenient to grocery stores, restuarants, golf, fishing, marina services, parasailing, dolphin tours and discount shopping.

Picture Perfect

We most recently stayed in this condo in June of 2012 and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the gulf area. The condo presents itself as brand new. The bedrooms are large and we love the open kitchen, living, and dining area. The balcony was large enough to sit outside and eat while watching kids swim. The easy access to the beach is wonderful. The beach is less crowded than a few miles up the road. The kids love the large pool and there is a shaded area making it easy watch them swim and take a break from the sun. Grilled one night on the charcoal grill in the commons area. This condo will not disappoint and is very close to all the restaurants in the area. Love everything about trip and this condo! Looking forward to next years trip already.

Perdido Key Condo

August 5, 2012

We stayed at this condo the week of July 28-Aug 3, 2012. We had a group of 8. Everything was extremely clean and there was plenty of room for all the children. The back deck has a lovely view of the pool, which was especially nice when the teens headed down to swim and we could keep an eye on them without having to be right there. Cable TV and high speed internet in the living room as well as both bedrooms meant we could keep up with work and that everyone could watch what they chose. Full kitchen that allowed us to only eat out for a couple of meals, saving us bunches, and I was happy to find plenty of plates, cups, bowls and glasses to accommodate our group (I have stayed places before that slept 8 but only had place settings for 4). My favorite part of this condo is that a short boardwalk takes you to a beach that is adjacent to a state park, so no condos or crowds in that direction. It was a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature in the evening and early morning. Very comfortable, relaxing place to spend the week....we would definitely stay here again.

Glad it worked out well for you. The park is part of the Gulf Islands Seashore Park and has a daily fee for road access. There are multiple boardwalks along the 2 mile road (which is my morning walking trail). There is a very nice pavillion with restrooms, showers and several large covered picnic areas.
