Residenza Sinibaldi is an house with character 5 miles from Perugia set on a hilly position, ideal place to spend the holidays. Residenza Sinibaldi is located in a quite hilly area in the centre of Umbria near the main Umbrian cities and at the border with Tuscany-Florence and Lazio-Rome. It is a characteristic restored XVIII century farmhouse with a very wide private garden, 12 Kms from the center of Perugia. The ancient house, in addition to nature and green, is finished and restored in compliance with the architectural style typical of the countryside of Umbria.

The Residenza is divided into independent apartments one of which occupied by the owners. In the apartments there are all original elements such ancient stones, wooden beams, but also furniture combined with style and modern comfort. A completely restored apartment is available to guests and could accommodate 6 people with all modern amenities and it is a perfect to relax. The apartment (90 square meters) is located on the second floor of the farmhouse; it is autonomous with the second common exit for the garden. All the works are new and the apartment is in excellent condition. The furniture is simple and welcoming.

The large fenced park (3000 square meters) with lawn, olive trees, flowers and plants of all kinds, fruit trees, maintained personally by the owner, is also made available to guests to make more comfortable for vacation. The park is equipped with children games, first of all a beautiful trampoline, barbecue, table tennis, and garage. Guests will have several garden furniture like a large table at their exclusive use for dinning outdoors, umbrella and chairs for relaxing in the peace of nature.

In a few minutes you will arrive to railway station, supermarkets, banks, post offices, restaurants, pubs, chemist's shops, sport centers, Horse-riding lessons or excursions on horseback, Tennis Club. Nearby you can enjoy the typical Umbrian cuisine in restaurants, inns or village fests. It is a strategically place for those willing to comfortably visit the most important central Italian art cities and it is an ideal base to discover nature, touring, music and Italian food and wine because it is located near to most places and events that Umbria offers throughout the year. The apartment and garden offer all conveniences during the holidays and to practice sport activities outdoors surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Area Description

The list of places that would be worthwhile to visit using as a starting point the Residenza is infinite. For the lovers of art, folklore and ancient traditions, Residenza Sinibaldi is situated just a few kilometers from Perugia (8 Kms) with Pintoricchio's masterpieces and a lot of beautiful events like Umbria Jazz or Euro chocolate and more. Trasimeno Lake: the fourth largest lake in Italy (17 Kms) with 3 splendid islands. Assisi (27 kms) the Francesco's City and its medieval festival called "Calendimaggio"; Todi (28 kms) described as 'the perfect city'; Foligno (36 kms) with the 'Giostra della Quintana ; Gubbio (45 kms) where the 'Corsa dei Ceri takes place; Spoleto (48 kms) where the 'Festival of Two Worlds takes place; Orvieto (55 kms) with its Cathedral and the famous San Patrizio's well. Excursions to Florence- 120 kms, Rome- 125 kms, Siena- 83 kms, Arezzo- 61 kms are also possible. You may reach these by car, however we suggest a train ride of 1 - 1,30 hours, which is safe, comfortable, and stress free. The thermal baths - minimum 30 kilometers, the sea at Maremma or Adriatic Sea (125 kilometers) are also an excellent day out from here; however a car is essential.

In the little village you could see the circular tower of an ancient castle and the bell-tower of a Romanic church; you could admire the Portal of this church in S.Peter's Monastery in Perugia too. Around the country road from San Biagio della Valle to Perugia you could see a great wood called "Bosco della Caccia" (Hunting Wood). The major riches of the area are the cultivation of olive, wine, sunflower and wheat but even the simple and tasty foods, excellent wines and oils. You could taste the typical Umbrian food in many restaurants or trattorias or in a lot of village feasts like Village Feast of strawberry in San Biagio.

Sunbeds are provided, loungers available to customers. There is a children' playground with a beautiful trampoline and a circular swimming pool for children. The management provides bicycles for excursions in the surroundings. Lessons or excursions on horseback are also possible - 3 kilometers. Tennis court - 200 meters, Football - 500 meters.
