Casa del Lupo is a meticulously renovated 17th century farm house in the heart of Italy. It is available for rent year round and is a perfect place for a family reunion or couples’ retreat. Enjoy the best Italy has to offer in this corner of heaven.
The villa was built in the 17th century and has been painstakingly renovated. Great attention has been given to retaining the authentic stone work and feel of ancient Italy while updating all the amenities and providing the conveniences that the modern traveler has come to expect including television, internet access, fax and phone.
With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms the villa sleeps up to thirteen
The Grounds consist of 4.2 acres of olive trees and gardens with expansive views of Trevi and the Umbrian Valley. There is a covered outdoor seating area with a fireplace adjacent to the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. The villa has ample parking and there is an on-site caretaker.
The Ground floor has a large gourmet kitchen, living room, dining room, office, laundry room with washer and dryer, a bedroom suite, a smaller bedroom and bathroom.
The Main Floor houses the master suite with bathroom, walk in closet and sitting area. There is a library and an office with a pull-out couch which can act as a 6th bedroom. In addition there is a second bedroom suite with a fireplace, patio and its own private entrance.
The Loft sleeps four and has a private bathroom.
Situated amongst the rolling hills of Umbria with endless views of olive trees and the picturesque town of Trevi, Casa del Lupo is the perfect place to come and unwind while you experience the best Italy has to offer.

After three weeks visiting Rome, Siena, Florence, and Cinque Terre, we had become hyper-aware admirers of the wonderful features of traditional Italian architecture and design. To then experience those elements so beautifully integrated into your reconstruction of Casa del Lupo, with modern amenities so masterfully woven into the plan...well...we were overwhelmed! We have seen this attempted by others many times in many styles, the effort to design for modern living while retaining traditional design elements. But, never have we seen such a beautiful combination of the authentic traditional and the modern, both elements coexisting in such tasteful harmony without compromise, which of course is almost never the case. Bravo!
Casa del Lupo seemed to us a perfect whole while perfect in all its parts. In a word: sublime. Add the location, with its amazing view of Trevi and the grand vista of the entire valley stretching out wide, and one is transported to another realm. We felt like Roman gods!!
