Description of the Phillips vacation home rental

Your accommodations are a beautifully constructed Log Home finished in 1997, with approximately 2,600 sq. ft. of living area including 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, and a large room on the second floor that we call the Game Room, where you can enjoy a game of table tennis, billiards (regulation size pool table) or electronic darts on the bar size dart machine, or just watch TV.

Outside you can play a game of horseshoes, fish from the dock, or play tetherball with the kids, when you are not on the water. In the winter, you can snowmobile on the 500 miles of trails in Price County and can be accessed directly from the house. In the evening, look up at the stars while you are sitting around a crackling campfire, and just maybe you will catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The City of Phillips is only 6 miles away where there is shopping, golfing, or just enjoying meeting the friendly people of the Phillips area.
For the hunters, the property is across the street from thousands of acres of public land where you can see deer, bear, grouse, turkeys and possibly a moose or elk that have been seen in the area!

Area Description

Phillips is a quiet Northern WI town with a population of approx. 1500 people but has many amenities for a City it's size. It caters to the tourist as well as having many festivals every year.

Great Log Home, August 23, 2009

We had a great time staying in this beautiful log home. It had everything we were looking for; on the water, enough bedrooms and bathrooms, a fire pit, near a campground, etc. They bay was "stumpy", just like the name implies, but once out of the bay the lake was a nice size. All we needed was a little warmer weather. It is pretty far up north and there is not a lot of things to do that are "touristy". All in all, very relaxing in a beautiful home and location.
