Simple, comfortable, and difficult to leave, this 3BR, 2BA chalet is perfectly nestled between Woodstock and Phoenicia in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. Just 2.5 hours north of New York City and a short walk to the picturesque Esopus Creek, (great trout fishing, swimming and tubing), its the perfect getaway for couples, families or groups of friends.

The open living room/kitchen is at the heart of the house. Curl up on the couch next to the wood stove fireplace, or map out your day at the kitchen table. A great room to gather and entertain.

The back deck, complete with grill, full patio furniture set, and 5 person hot tub sits above the large back yard.

The two upstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed while the the downstairs bedroom has 2 long twins that can be combined to form a king, There's also a full size futon in the downstairs den. In all, the house sleeps up to 8.

The downstairs den is perfect for the kids to watch a movie, or to sneak away for some quiet reading.

The house is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, an area known for its beauty, history and adventure. Wether its skiing, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, tubing down the Esopus, or simply looking at the gorgeous fall foliage, the Catskills truly has something for everyone.

Near to Hunter Mountain and Belleayre Mountain, two of the regiions best ski mountains.

Downtown Woodstock is a 10 minute drive. Main Street Phoenicia (home of the famous Sweet Sue's breakfast restaurant) is a mere 3.5 miles.

Great place to relax in the Catskills... the fireplace and hot tub were definitely the main areas of interest!

This house is such a spacious getaway, especially from the city! Plenty of activities to do around the area and equally great if you just want to lounge around the house. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Matt!
