Description of the Piermont vacation cabin rental

The cabin lies just 5 feet from the water. Enjoy the loons, ducks and fish of serene Lake Armington from the screened in front porch. Cook some s'mores over a toasty fire in the metal fire pit in the side yard after dinner on the grill. Walk over to the sandy beach and take a swim while the kids chase salamanders and collect mussels. Take a lap around the lake in one of the human powered boats (canoe, kayak, pedal boat, a rowboat and the sandy beach are shared by 3 other cabins).

The cabin sleeps 5 comfortably in the bedrooms. A queen in the master bedroom and bunks plus a full in the second bedroom.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator, a stove, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, and plates.

Area Information

Located on the edge of the white mountains, the cabin is surrounded by nature. 60% of the frontage on Lake Armington is owned by a conservation group and cannot be built on. Powerboat traffic is almost nil.

There are several trails within walking distance, including a difficult one that goes to the peak of Piermont Mountain with spectacular views at the summit. Many more trails are just a drive away.

Within 30 minutes you can find miniature golf, ice cream stand, hot air balloon rides, internet cafe, Polar Caves Park, golf and much more.
