WONDERFUL SMOKEY MT. VACATION

My Husband, little poodle, and I stayed at Rest Awhile and was a wonderful vacation. The Cabin was just adorable with all the Christmas decorations. I know that Amy and Andy take pride in this cabin. Oscar, the racoon, came to visit and yes he does love Oreo cookies. Hot tub was wonderful and the cabin was so homely that we hated to leave. Will definently come back next year if it is available. Thanks for allowing us the staY at "REST AWHILE".

Great Getaway!

This was an incredible value! It had all the comforts of home and it was a great price! The mountain driving took a little getting used to, but wasn't too difficult. Our only issue was a minor problem with the jacuzzi, and the property owner had it fixed promptly. I would definitely recommend staying at "Rest Awhile"!

We really enjoyed out stay at Time Away cabin in the Smoky Mountains. I don't recommend going during a busy holiday though; traffic in town is outrageous if you want to see fireworks. Aside from a few small insects, we saw no animals. The ping-pong and air hockey tables left somewhat to be desired. Needs new paddles, ping-pong balls, & a net. Highly recommend going to Mama's Farmhouse if you're down this way. They had some of the best food in town. An all-you-can-eat buffet...brought to you while you sit at your table! What a concept! You will enjoy your stay and Time Away due to the cleanliness, hospitality, and friendliness of Cindy, the owner.

Rest Awile was just as promised. All the comforts nestled in the woods. secluded enough for a romantic geaway but close enough to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. A terrific value.

Great Cabin To Escape Too

This was a great cabin to escape too. So comfortable and peaceful. Our 7 days flew by. We had to cancel one day of outings due to weather, but just curling up on the screen patio and reading a book was so worth it. Thanks for sharing your great cabin Amy!

Honeymoon Stay

My husband and I rented this cabin for my daughter and son-in-laws honeymoon. At the begining we were a bit skeptical, however as we read the reviews on this cabin they were ALL positve. When my daughter arrived to the cabin, she called us immediatly thanking us and discribing how clean and cozy the cabin was. Their discription was so great that my husband and I have decided to rent the cabin for the month of July! Also Amy the owner is amazing trying to accommidate our needs. Awesome Experience

This was our first time to rent a cabin in the mountains. We had always stayed in a motel and this cabin was absolutely fabulous. After a hard day of shopping and go on adventures we could return to the hot tub. This cabin was very clean and has everything needed to make a vacation enjoyable. We were able to do our laundry and therefore didn't return home with dirty laundry. We were far enough from traffic for the peace and serenity yet close enough to all attraction of Pigeon Forge. I would definitely recommend this property or any others from this rental group. Again thanks for providing us with this awesome experience.

We'll Be Back

The cabin is beautiful and very secluded! There is only one cabin near by. We had a wounderful time; even on the rainy days. There were even a couple of times we were able to get in the hot tub and enjoy it. When we had a problem with the outside trash we called Amy and it was resolved within the hour, no hassles. There is even a neighborhood cat. We fed her well, and got within about 3 feet of her before she ran. We try to make it to Pigeon Forge every year; we will stay here from now on. If you follow the directions Amy gives you will find it; your GPS will get you lost.

Beautiful, clean cabin in lovely wooded setting

While the Tennessee weather was sweltering, we were cool and comfortable in this lovely, air conditioned cabin. Housekeeping called to let us know we could check in early and the place was super clean upon our arrival. While finding the place was a little tricky, Amy's directions got us there without getting lost. We enjoyed cruising the countryside and exploring Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, but were happy to be able to come back and chill out at this wonderful cabin. I highly recommend this cabin, but wouldn't suggest it for more than 2 people (unless you all get along really well). For us, it was the perfect getaway cabin!

This was a great place to stay. It was perfect. We spent our honeymoon at "Rest Awhile". Amy, the owner, was great to work with and accommodated every request. The home is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed and more! The hot tub was awesome and very private. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the serenity. It's a great location.

The cabin was quite and relaxing. We all had a good time. It had everything you needed. LOVED the rockers. The only complaint would be we stayed from 7/30-8/5 and the outside garbage was never emptied.

Had a wonderful cabin and could not have ask for more wonderful Landlords. Amy and Andy, the owners, went out of their way to make sure we would have any and everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyabe as possible. We would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone. They also take the time to decorate it for seasonal and make it home like and comfortable. It is great just to stay in and relax and enjoy each others company. It is so peaceful. Anyone who would take the time to come to "Rest Awhile" would certainly be pleased. We will be returning again. A Christmas to remember!!

The cabin was amazing and better than I had anticipated. We even had Christmas cookies waiting on us when we arrived. Everything was very comfortable and we loved being able to make our own meals if we chose to. The kitchen had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by our family. We would love to return to this cabin. we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks Amy for taking such good care of us and making our first visit to Pigeon Forge a wonderful and memorable one!

Most Amazing Weekend!!

My husband and I and another young couple came for a weekend getaway. What a surprise to find that there were all the cooking supplies (utensils, nice dishes, pots and pans) needed to make dinner and breakfast in the morn!! Very welcoming with the perfect decor!! King size bed and the sofa bed was just as comfy. 2 roomy bathrooms and a warm fireplace for winter stays!! We will be coming back for more!! (hot tubbing in the mountains!!) PS: VERY close hiking trails, Cades Cove is just a 15-20min. drive away
