3 year Wedding Anniversary
May 28, 2014
My husband and I stayed at Bear Ridge cabin for our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful. It was conveniently close to local attractions which we took advantage of in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Our accomodations were excellent. The cabin provided us with all the accessories we needed and included a loft with a pool and foosball table. So we had the options of staying in and enjoying the comforts of the cabin in the hot tub or enjoying the numerous activities. We will be using Vacation Home Rentals again they provided us with great service and the pricing was great. I will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you for helping us to create wonderful memories for our 3rd year Wedding Anniversary! Anita & Joe Zebell
Great Weekend Stay - Repeat Guests!
May 21, 2014
We are repeat guests to this cabin and love it here! The owner is gracious and professional to work with and gives detailed directions and recommendations on things to do. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended stay as it has a kitchen, washer/dryer, and lots of things to do: hot tub, pool table, foose ball table, TV with movies downstairs, TV with video games upstairs -- and it's also perfect for a romantic getaway or with the family - there's a master bedroom with a whirlpool tub, a pull-out couch downstairs by fireplace and a pull-out couch in loft. We've slept in the bedroom on our first stay and the upstairs loft on our second stay (we brought family with us the 2nd time). Each are comfortable and all sheets, pillows, towels are provided! We also found it nice that there are garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper to get you started (you'll need more if staying longer than a weekend), and there was also some coffee and sugar packets to get you started with your vacation! The cabin is very clean - everything from the bathrooms, floors, carpeting, linens, etc. We would not have stayed a 2nd time if we found it not to be. Location - The cabin is central and you can easily get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg in minutes. The curvy, narrow mountain roads were a little confusing to navigate at first, but we had the hang of it in no time. It's nice to be somewhat secluded but yet only minutes away from everything!

Beautiful cabin, perfect location. Although it was "clean" there were a few things not up to par. Wood carver ants everywhere in downstairs bathroom and even on kitchen counter. We had to buy bug spray so they wouldn't keep getting into our towel/ items in bathroom. Had to spray am/pm for 3 days to get them under control. Bed top foam not comfortable. Someones long hair was in supposely clean towels and way too many dust bunnies in corners. Which appeared to have been there a while. I understand the bugs because of being in the trees/mountains. The rest left me with the thinking a better cleaning situation is needed. Otherwise, the owner was helpful when contacted and we loved Tennssee.

good family vacation stay
April 11, 2013
Overall it was great. The only downside was everyday we discovered something wrong. Jacuzzi tub didnt hold water. Pool table was not balanced. Bedroom tv channels kinda sucked. Game system didnt work. But we was not really there for all that stuff. It was clean and pretty.

Better than I expected
November 6, 2012
The owner of this cabin was very nice. He gave us detailed directions which got us there with no problems. This cabin was just wonderful. So cozy with the fireplace and the decor! Everything you need and then some. I will never rent at a hotel when going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge again. The only suggestion I would have is adding a better outdoor grill.
