I thought about calling to see if the cabin was booked for the night I left. I felt so at home and did not want to leave but I knew it would be just as hard to leave the next day. The hot tub was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the cabin was cool, and it was so peaceful and quite. My dog made herself at home, too. She loved laying out on the deck in the mornings. She also loved going up and down the winding staircase (over and over). When I come back I am going to request a little later check out. Ten o'clock is too early for us on central time. It takes longer to get everything up those stairs than it did taking it down. I was billed an extra $199 for "other". I know $50 was for my dog but I never knew what the $149 was for. It wasn't taxes because they were itemizied. I hope it wasn't for cleaning service because their is an envelope in the cabin to tip them. I meant to go by the office for details but never did. Anyway, I got my moneys worth so I'm not complaining, just curious. Just be prepared to pay quite a bit more than what is quoted on the web site but that seems to happen to me every where I go these days. If you are alone or with just one other person I highly recommend you stay at the Bearadise.
