Very nice.Pet friendly, grandchildren loved everything about this cabin.Didnt use all the amenities , but will deffinetly stay again and use them. Plenty of room for family and friends.Would recomend this Cabin to others .Only one drawback not hadicap friendly.

A Week Off

The cabin we stayed in was magnificent. It was roomy, had some great views, and enough to keep you busy when on location. The hot tub was a crowd favorite, and the appliances were well beyond what we expected. The fire pit was well kept and stocked with quality wood. The beds were comfy and everything there worked perfectly. This was one of the best cabins I have ever rented.

Great place!

The cabin was so awesome. I brought a total of 8 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was awesome; it is not covered which is awesome. It was snowing on us when we were in the hut tub. The cabin is well stocked with plates, silverware, and pot/pans. We loved the pool table. The arcade games was awesome; it had some many of the awesome games that I grew up went. The owners even provided a nice computer. We all had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

The view from this chalet is breath-taking. The chalet was clean and the beds were comfy! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and arcade games. The chalet is very close to all the attractions that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg offer and it gives you that peace and scenery you can only find in the Smokies! Wonderful Ladies Weekend!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The weather was brutally hot but the cabin was cool! The location of the cabin was perfect to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, close to everything but very private and secluded. The cabin was super clean...the only negative about our stay was the driveway, we were glad we had driven our 4 x 4.

Owner's reply:

Cabin is easily accessible by any car,van or truck. First part of driveway is flat and gradually slopes downhill and is not steep like most cabins driveways here in the mountains.

Our recent stay was amazing. We had my two grown children, their grandparents and we all stayed very comfortable. The place was very home feeling which led to some great family time. We were convenient to everything but far enough away to enjoy a wonderful view.

We had such a great time at Camp Run-A-Muk over Memorial Day Weekend. The kids loved the game room as well as the adults. It took us back to our arcade days and it was a lot of fun. We had a great time in the hot tub, so peaceful and relaxing. This was a great cabin with a gorgeous view. We will definitely be staying again, hopefully next time it will be longer. Convenience and a View!

Camp Run-a-Muk is in a great location, very convenient to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. It also has a very nice view of the mountains, all for a great price. Really enjoyed the arcade games, it took me back to when I was a kid playing my Atari! Bottom line is this: It would be very difficult to find another cabin that has convenience, a view, and doesn't charge taxes or a cleaning fee. Can't go wrong with this one!

Excellent location and super Dog Friendly

We had an excellent long weekend at this wonderful cabin, plenty of room for the 2 legged peoples and my 4-legged german shepherd. We spent hours playing pool, arcade games, and then evenings enjoying the hot tub. The house is very clean, well organized, and exactly what we needed fro a restful vacation. The location is super close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so we had time to shop before we had to come home and let the dog out. And the view is great, we watched the clouds linger over the mountains as we ate breakfast. Plan to be back again next year! Thanks.

Great Cabin

Very enjoyable trip, cabin was well stocked, clean and was perfect for indoor and outdoor activities. We enjoyed being at the top of the mountain and yet so close to Dollywood, shopping, old time photos, restaurants, rides/go-carts and even riding horseback through the mountains. While at the cabin we enjoyed playing pool, arcade games, playing on the computer supplied, watching movies, making bonfires, eating s'mores, telling ghost stories and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of fun and adventure. Our sweet doggie, Daisy, enjoyed having room to roam and felt right at home also. You really don't need to leave the cabin to enjoy the most breathtaking views of the mountains, including beautiful sunrises and sunsets!! A great cabin and fantastic experience awaits!! This house was absolutely wonderful. Very, very clean and well taken care of. It was nice to have plenty of room for my family and my puppy so that we were not right on top of each other. Liked the fact that we had privacy but still only 5 minutes away from Pigeon Forge. And the view was amazing!!! Would definately recommend it to my family and friends and would stay there again. We loved it!!

wonderful, peaceful, amazing views

we recently spent a week at camp run amok, my husband, son and two dogs... we all loved it... sitting on the wonderful, wide deck with surrounding views of the sunrise and sunset, and mountains and trees during the day. our golden retriever loved retrieving tennis balls dropped from the deck to the yard, both dogs loved just having outside space to play in. The house is fully equipped, everything you thought of needing.. comfortable.. the only thing I think it needs is more reading lamps in the master bedroom and the living area. A lovely holiday.. close to everything..we will be back..

Our family visited during Christmas. We had hoped for a White Christmas and boy did we get it. The views from the house are amazing. You are Perched high above everyone. Close to everything. We were a little scared driving up the mountain with the snow but otherwise everything was perfect. Beds are comfy and my kids totally enjoyed the gameroom. We loved being able to bring our poodles. Owners were super nice and helped us get down the road in the snow. My only concern was my elderly mother had difficulty on the steep steps but once inside everything she needed was on one level leaving the 2nd floor for my husband and I and 2 of the kids. Will certainly consider staying Here again.

This is a wonderful cabin to stay in. The owners thought of everything including a ready built bon fire which we used and roasted hot dogs and made smores. The view around the cabin is beautiful. We hope to visit again next year.

The only area that may be improved ceiling fans In the bed rooms or just fans, and if so better TV reception. Thanks again for a wonderful 5 days in your home.

Wonderful Chalet!

Wonderful, peaceful, quiet place to stay. The owners went out of their way to have nice, comfortable furniture and everything is clean and decorated so pretty. More than we ever expected and a great price. Love that our dogs were allowed and there were no extra fees. Our dogs loved the shady yard to get exercise. The full kitchen with dishes, etc. supplied was wonderful. The washer and dryer was a nice plus. The deck going around most of the place had a great view and a nice place to sit after a tiring day out. Having a computer furnished and already hooked up with wi-fi for use was really great. The game room was nice. Close enough to stores to get what you need to grill on the nice grill but far enough from the traffic and loud noises to be really nice. Can't say enough about this place. Would love to be able to go back. The pictures on the web site don't do this place justice. It has much more than the pictures show. The only thing we would suggest to make it better is to add ceiling fans in every bedroom and the Speed Channel for Nascar fans to keep up with the races. You could always watch a movie with the DVD players that are also available if you have time but you usually have too much to enjoy with the view to watch TV. Perfect play for a family vacation or a couple for a quiet get-a-way.

Great stay at Camp Run A Muk

I was leary booking something online where I had to pay upfront before seeing the facility. This place made all my fears disappear. The chalet was very clean,very spacious, and decorated to make one feel at home. It accomodated the six of us with plenty of room to add more if we wanted. The furniture/beds was very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool table/game/computer room. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable on the cool evenings. The view is great from the master bedroom and dining area. The property is spacious, secluded that allowed the kids to play outside and enjoy sitting around bonfire and decks watching birds and other wildlife, yet it was still close to all the events/stores/town we needed access to. The kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious to move around in. The laundry room was a nice feature with plenty of room to hang laundry as taking it out of dryer. When we did have a problem with the grill running out of gas, the owner was quick to respond to our call and fix the problem. They are a very pleasant family, I felt if I would have needed anything else, I didn't have to hestitate to call them. The only downfall we could find about this place was the driveway. Its a narrow driveway however, it will not detour us from staying here again. I highly recommend this place and hope everyone enjoys it as much as my family and I did. We plan to return ASAP.

A wonderful Chalet. Close to everything, but yet secluded. We would definately enjoy staying here again. The view from the deck off the master bedroom is simply amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pigeon Forge this year. The house we stayed in was able to accomadate all of our needs during our stay. We enjoyed the peacefulness and quietness of the location of the home, yet it was only a couple of miles to go to get to where all the activities are going on.
