Description of the Pine Island vacation home rental

OUR LOVELY COMMUNITY OF PINEISLAND SHORES IS LOCATED AT THE SOUTHERN TIP OF THE ISLAND. BY WATER THE ENTRANCE TO THE COMMUNITY IS DIRECTELY ACROSS FROM TARPON BAY ON SANIBEL ISLAND AND BETWEEN THE TWO ISLANDS LIES THE INTERCOASTAL WATERWAY. WE HAVE DEEP WATER ACCESS AND CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO A 35FT. VESSEL, OR A 25FT. UNDERCOVER.
PINEISLAND IS ABUNDANT WITH WILDLIFE AND THE SURROUNDING WATERS AND ESTUARIES PLENTIFUL WITH GAMEFISH. TARPON,SNOOK,REDFISH,TROUT,GROUPER,SNAPPER,POMPANO,COBI A AND SPANISH MACKEREL ARE JUST SOME OF THE SPECIES ROAMING OUR WATER. MANATEES AND DOLPHINS VISIT RIGHT BEHIND OUR HOME. THE FISH LIKE TO GATHER UNDER THE SHADE OF THE BOATHOUSE,LARGE SHEEPHEAD [EXCELLENT EATING FISH] FEED ON THE OYSTERS GROWING ON THE SEAWALL. KAYAKING IS EXCELLENT!!! THE SANDY FLATS AND DENSE MANGROVES JUST MINUTES AWAY ARE GREAT FOR FISHING. OUR LOCAL WATERFRONT RESTAURANTS ARE JUST BLOCKS AWAY, REASONABLE PRICES,GREAT FOOD AND MUSIC.

SLOWER-PACE IS THE RULE ON PINE ISLAND IT'S AWAY OF LIFE CALLED [BEING ON ISLAND TIME]. LOTS OF WILDLIFE AND NATURE TO ENJOY ALONG WITH GREAT FISHING. NO HIGHRISE BUILDINGS OR TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND THE BIG CITY AMENTIES OF CAPE CORAL AND FORT MYERS ARE VERY NEAR.

Terrific tropical vacation spot!

April 2, 2012

We have just finished the second rental of this property, sharing it with another couple. Pleanty of space to spread out and relax. Pool is heated and well maintained. View down the canal is lovely. Boat dock and fish cleaning station perfect for fishermen to clean their catch! Within walking distance of 4 restaurants (including a tiki bar), a small grocery, a marina, and other businesses. Hope to return next season!

We arrived at a beautiful home, very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was there. Rental agent was very courteous. Did not feel like we were renting but rather it was our home for the week. We will most definitely rent that home again and use VRBO for all our rental needs in the future.

We enjoyed our stay on Pine Island, our 6 yr old daughter loved the pool and trying to catch geckos. Very quiet neighborhood, saw a manatee in the canal the house was on. Overall a great experience.
