Description of the Pine Mountain vacation cottage rental

Bearfish cottage is located only 3/4 mile from beautiful Callaway Gardens and 3 blocks from shops and restaurants in Pine Mt. Bearfish is cozy and tastefully decorated with a wildlife theme that depicts this beautiful area.
You can drive right to your back door, where motion sensor lights light your way. The back deck is great for cookouts, or relax on the front porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful foliage on the property. Sometimes deer even wander onto the yard.
You must visit Roosevelt State Park where wildlife is abundant. Be sure and stop off at the scenic overlooks with breathtaking views, and have your own picnic at Dowdle's Knob, where Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) had his cookouts so many years ago.
Bearfish cottage is priced more affordable, because we value our guests and look forward to your repeat visits. The space you are getting for the money is incredible. This nostalgic duplex home is very clean and is all on one level. A very large 1 or 2 bedroom apartment is available for $99 per night. The entire house which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms rents for $185 per night and sleeps 10 persons.

Area Information

The City of LaGrange is 20 minutes away and offers boating on West Point Lake, an art museum, a symphony orchestra and many very good restaurants.
Warm Springs is a few minutes away and is where President Roosevelt's Little White House is with nice tours of the house. There are, also, really interesting shops and nice restaurants in this area.
Horseback riding, fishing, swimming, hiking trails,
hunting are in the surrounding area.
There is an animal park " The Wild Animal Safari" and an amusement park in this area.
Callaway Gardens is 1/2 mile from Bearfish Cottage
and offers Robin Beach, Birds of Prey shows, the Butterfly House, fishing, golfing, biking, restaurants, beautiful gardens to tour and much more.
The "Fantasy In Lights" Christmas light show is a must for you to see in November and December at Callaway Gardens. We will book 1 night for $149 per side during the light show except the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Peacefu and restful!

We had a great time in Pine Mountain and really enjoyed the facilities at Bearfish Cottage. It provided everything we could ask for and allowed us to relax in comfort every evening after enjoying all there is to see in the area. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We hope to come back one day.

Very Nice, Clean and Welcoming!

We rented both sides of Bearfish Cottage for a family get together. It was a much better alternative to staying in separate hotels. The "cottage" was perfect for us but it would have been nice to have a door between the 2 units. Pine Mountain was quaint, small with cute little shops and a great, old time soda fountain shop. There didn't appear to be much to do or see other than Callaway Gardens. We spent most of our time at Fort Benning (which was a good 45 minutes away). The cottage was well stocked for all of our needs. We would stay again if the need ever occurred.

We have installed a door between the two units. So when renting the whole house you just open the door. There are many things to do in the area. There is an art museum, old mansions to tour and West Point Lake 20 minutes away. President Roosevelt's Little White House to tour in Warm Springs. The Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mt. Many Antique stores. Buttsmill Farm for the kids to enjoy. Fishing, swimming, golfing and hiking, also.

Quaint and convenient to downtown Pine Mtn & Callaway Gardens. Reasonably priced. Cottage is well stocked & maintained. We rented the whole house with another family & enjoyed our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised at the nice accomadations. Very clean, comfortable beds and lots of room. The decorating and porches made this cottage very quaint. Nice location with quick access to stores, shops and Calloway Gardens. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to use this cottage again!

Thank you for a lovely, easy stay for a 3 day weekend. The 1 bedroom is so spacious and our 21/2 yr. old loved having her own room and big-girl bed next to ours. The house was great and so incredibly close to everything. We highly recommend this cottage and let us know about your beach house, too.
