Description of the Pine River vacation cabin rental

"Cabin at the Lake" is located 10 miles Northeast of Pine River, MN on Smiley Lake. Enjoy the tranquility of YOUR OWN PRIVATE 645 feet of sandy beach lakeshore on a small Minnesota Northwood's environmental lake with great Bass (many 5 pound Bass caught in 06,07,08), Northern, and Panfish (many 2 pound Crappie and Sunfish caught in 06,07,08)fishing PLUS 24 acres of undeveloped land. This beautiful and completely remodeled cabin has 2 bedrooms (with each double bed), plus a Futon-bed (sleeps 2), with 720 square feet of space plus another 192 square feet of screened lakeside porch. "Cabin at the Lake" includes a private dock and private sandy beach right in front of the screened porch area. Also enjoy picnic area, gas barbeque, fire ring and lawn furniture, yard games. Includes a full kitchen with coffee maker, cookware, utensils, oven, cooking range, mircrowave, refrigerator, T.V., VCR, DVD, DVD & VCR Library, Bed Linens, Blankets, Paddle Boat & Canoe. Fishing and Ski Boats are availble for rent. The Cabin has a window air conditioner. Pets are allowed with additional charge.

Reservation and Damage Deposit:
Reservation Deposits must be received within 10 days from the date you receive your rental agreement. Full Payment for rental is due three weeks prior to the commencement date of your rental. Weekly Rental & Daily Rental of 3 days or more requires a $300.00 Reservation Deposit. Monthly rental requires a $900.00 Reservation Deposit. Reservation Deposits will be converted into your Damage Deposit upon check-in. Damage Deposit: After 3 years of being booked nearly solid we are happy to announce we have successfully refunded 100% of all Damage Deposits. In the absence of damage to the Cabin and Property, loss of property or the need for heavy cleaning beyond the normal and expected, your Damage Deposit will be fully and promptly refunded within 14 days from the end of your stay.

Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the beginning of your scheduled stay, your Reservation Deposit will be refunded to you in full less a $50.00 cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to the beginning date of your scheduled stay, the Reservation
Deposit will be forfeited, unless the vacancy created by your cancellation is filled in the same capacity as your reservation.

Other Rate Information:
$20.00/night per extra person over 6 people over the age of 14 staying in the cabin, camping out in tents, or staying in RV's or Trailers.

$75 cleaning fee on stays less then 3 nights.

Children under 14 half price - Children under 4 no charge

Pets $15/pet per day or $75.00/pet per week. Pets must be leashed or kenneled at all times. Portable kennels are available on site if needed. Call about exceptions to leash & kennel rule.

Boats with motor available for rent. Call on rates.

10% discount for Frequent (more than 1 time a year) and return renters. (only one discount per rental)

Camping Charge $5.00/Tent PLUS Cabin rental at daily, weekly, or monthly rate (No Charge for screen tents for dinning)
RV or Trailer hook up rate $25.00/day/unit PLUS Cabin rental at daily, weekly, or monthly rate.

"Cabin at the Lake" is less then 45 minutes from Brainerd, Walker, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Brezzy Point, and only 15 minutes from the Paul Bunyan bike and rollerblading trail which is the longest paved "Rails to Trails" in the nation. The cabin is located within 15 miles of over 20 other great fishing lakes. Pine River and the Brainerd Lakes area of Minnesota host most of the chain shopping stores and restaurants in the country and offers a variety of activites such as golf, tennis, biking, rollerblading and hiking. Other activities available in the area are Aerobics Classes, Auto Racing, Baketball Courts, Bike Rentals, Casino's, Game Rooms, Gyms, Horseback Riding, Jet Ski and Kayak rental, Volleyball Courts, Water Parks, Miniture Golf Parks, Go Kart Tracks, Sailing, Racquetball, Wind Surfing, Championship Gold Courses, Cross Country Sking, Snowmobile Trails, Down Hill Sking, Snow Tubing, Ice Fishing, and much much more. Pine River is located half way (45 minutes) between Brainerd and Walker Minnesota.

The cabin and the entire atmosphere were well above what we expected. The fishing was exceptional, from the bass, perch and northerns to the large panfish. And of course the occasional bull head. The loons were present everyday swimming and fishing. The peace and quiet of the location was very welcome and created a great atmosphere. It was as if we were the only ones on the lake. For the kids it was great because of the beach and the clear water. You can actually see the bottom of the lake at almost any point, as the water is crystal clear. "Bear" the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was there and Brandy came by to check on us from time to time. We would highly recommend this to any one.
