Smiley Haven offers spacious comfort with many amenities with 200 feet of private sandy shoreline on Smiley Lake, a clean and peaceful environmental lake, at a great price! 3 bedrooms plus a queen sofa-sleeper will sleep 8, with plenty of room for airbeds and cots to accommodate additional guests. A seven-person luxury hot-tub on the deck provides fantastic views of the lake during the day and the brilliant stars at night with no light pollution. Free pontoon/motor rental is included with your minimum 1-week stay. 2.5 baths, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 complete kitchens (1 upstairs & 1 downstairs), built in oven and microwave, 6 burner Jen Air cook top, side by side refrigerator, big screen T.V. with VCR, DVD, & Dish Network, DVD & VCR Library, central vacuum, see-through fireplace, huge 4 season sunroom, TV's in all bedrooms, 6 location stereo speaker system (inside and outside the house) with CD player and AM/FM stereo, pool table, window air conditioners, outdoor picnic table, outdoor pop cooler, lawn furniture, fire pit on the beach, outdoor games, gas grill, private dock with platform and glider, canoe, paddle boat and much, much more.

Smiley Haven is 2920 square feet -- perfect for large or multiple families, or anyone who wants privacy, comfort, and spacious conditions in a very peaceful environment for their vacation. Lake Smiley is a small environmental lake that has no public access and offers great fishing (many 5lb Bass and 2lb pan fish caught each year), beautiful clean water, and wonderful sandy beaches. Often you might be the only ones on the lake.

You'll have wonderful lake views from the huge 4-season sun-room, open living room and kitchen, and master bedroom – all with tongue-and-groove cedar vaulted ceilings. The master bedroom has a ½ bath, see-through fireplace and patio door to the lake-side deck. The 2nd full bath upstairs includes a jetted tub. The upstairs kitchen has custom oak cabinets and Jen-air cook-top with built-in grill facing the lake. The downstairs walk-out has large lake-side windows, separate bedroom, full kitchen, den and living room with pool table, ¾ bath and laundry facilities (free).

Smiley Haven has 3+ acres of grounds bordered by gorgeous pines, and offers nature at its finest. We always have at least one family of loons, and they are beautiful to watch and listen to. If you're up early you'll see deer drinking on the far shore to the west. If you're up late, you'll hear coyotes at the pond to the east. With the peaceful privacy Smiley Lake offers and the many amenities and spacious accommodations of Smiley Haven, your vacation will be relaxing, fun and rejuvenating!

Reservation and Damage Deposits:
Reservation Deposits must be received within 10 days from the date you receive your rental agreement. Full Payment for rental is due three (3) weeks prior to the commencement date of your rental. Weekly Rental requires a $600.00 Reservation Deposit. Monthly rental requires a $1800.00 Reservation Deposit. Reservation Deposit: In the absence of damage to the House and Property, loss of property or the need for heavy cleaning beyond the normal and expected, your Damage Deposit will be fully and promptly refunded within 14 days from the end of your stay.

Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the beginning of your scheduled stay, your Reservation Deposit will be refunded to you in full less a $100.00 cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to the beginning date of your scheduled stay, the Reservation Deposit will be forfeited, unless the vacancy created by your cancellation is filled in the same capacity as your reservation.

Other Rate Information:
Pet Charges: We permit pets, however they must be leashed or kenneled at all times and must be cleaned up after. Pet charges are $135.00/week/pet - $18.00/day/pet for each day after - $270/month/pet. Portable kennels are available on site if needed – call about exceptions to leash and kennel rule. An outdoor kennel with doghouse is available on site.

$180.00/week per extra person over ten (10) people over the age of 14 staying in the house. Children under 14 half price. Children under 4 no charge.

Boats with motor available for rent. Call or email on rates.

10% discount for Frequent (more than 1 time a year) and return renters. (only one discount per rental)

Camping Charge $5.00/Tent PLUS House rental at weekly or monthly rate (No Charge for screen tents for dinning)
RV or Trailer hook up rate $25.00/day/unit PLUS House rental at weekly or monthly rate.

Smiley Haven is less then 45 minutes from Brainerd/Baxter, Walker, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Brezzy Point, and only 15 minutes from the Paul Bunyan bike trail which is the longest paved “Rails to Trails” in the nation. The cabin is located within 15 miles of over 20 other great fishing lakes. The Brainerd/Baxter lakes area of Minnesota host most of the chain shopping stores and restaurants in the country and offers a variety of activities such as Championship Golf Courses, Basketball Courts, Bike Rentals, Casino’s, Game Rooms, Gyms, Horseback Riding, Jet Ski-Pontoon-Kayak-Power Boat Rentals, Volleyball Courts, Water Parks, Miniature Golf Parks, Go Kart Tracks, Sailing, Racquetball, Wind Surfing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobile Trails, ATV Trails, Down Hill Skiing, Ice Fishing, and much much more. Pine River is located half way (45 minutes) between Brainerd/Baxter and Walker, Minnesota.
