This 2920 square foot home is perfect for large or multiple families, or anyone who wants privacy, comfort, and spacious conditions in a very peaceful environment for their vacation - A seven-person luxury hot-tub on the deck provides fantastic views of the lake during the day and the brilliant stars at night with no light pollution. 2.5 baths, washer/dryer, dishwasher, complete kitchen with built in oven and microwave, 4 burner Jen Air cook top, side by side refrigerator, central vacuum, see-through fireplace, huge 4 season sunroom, TV's in all bedrooms and living room, VCR and DVD players, DVD & VCR Library, CD player and AM/FM stereo, pool table, fire pit on the beach, gas grill, and much, much more. We offer spacious comfort with many amenities with 200+ feet of private sandy shoreline on a clean and peaceful environmental lake, at a great price! 3 bedrooms plus a queen sofa-sleeper will sleep 8, with plenty of room for airbeds and cots to accommodate additional guests. You'll have wonderful lake views from the huge 4-season sun-room, open living room and kitchen, and master bedroom all with tongue-and-groove cedar vaulted ceilings. The master bedroom has a ½ bath, see-through fireplace and patio door to the lake-side deck. The 2nd full bath upstairs includes a jetted tub. The upstairs kitchen has custom oak cabinets and 4 burner Jen-air cook-top. The downstairs walk-out has large lake-side windows, separate bedroom, den and living room with pool table and dart board, ¾ bath and laundry facilities (free). This small environmental lake has beautiful clean water, and wonderful sandy beaches. Often you might be the only ones on the lake. WINTER RATES: $150/night for up to 2 people - minimum of 3 nights stay or there is a $65 cleaning charge. $150 charge for 2 people includes total access to the upstairs bedroom - does not include access to the lower level bedroom or laundry room - unless you have more then 4 people. Pets allowed with additional charge - additional charges for additonal guests over the first 2 people. HOT TUB is kept open all year long - we have a wind break surround for the winter months wind so you can enjoy the tub during the winter

Lake Smiley is a small environmental lake that offers great fishing (many 5lb Bass and Northern and 2lb pan fish caught each year), beautiful clean water, and wonderful sandy beaches. Often you might be the only ones on the lake.


Smiley Haven has 3+ acres of grounds bordered by gorgeous pines, and offers nature at its finest. We always have at least one family of loons, and they are beautiful to watch and listen to. If you're up early you might see deer drinking on the far shore to the west. If you're up late, you might hear coyotes at the pond to the east. With the peaceful privacy Smiley Lake offers and the many amenities and spacious accommodations of Smiley Haven, your vacation will be relaxing, fun and rejuvenating!

Smiley Haven is less then 45 minutes from Brainerd/Baxter, Walker, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Brezzy Point, and only 15 minutes from the Paul Bunyan bike trail which is the longest paved “Rails to Trails” in the nation. The cabin is located within 15 miles of over 20 other great fishing lakes. The Brainerd/Baxter lakes area of Minnesota host most of the chain shopping stores and restaurants in the country and offers a variety of activities such as Championship Golf Courses, Basketball Courts, Bike Rentals, Casino’s, Game Rooms, Gyms, Horseback Riding, Jet Ski-Pontoon-Kayak-Power Boat Rentals, Volleyball Courts, Water Parks, Miniature Golf Parks, Go Kart Tracks, Sailing, Racquetball, Wind Surfing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobile Trails, ATV Trails, Down Hill Skiing, Ice Fishing, and much much more.
