Peaceful Sierra cabin at National Forest border

Our quiet Sierra cabin is in an area less crowded than Tahoe or Yosemite. The cabin is on the border of the National Forest and at 4500 feet is often surrounded by snow in the winter. It has a knotty pine interior, comfortable chairs, good books, games, and a fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy quiet days and peaceful nights in our cozy getaway designed for relaxation and retreat. And for hikers, if you walk out the back door you will dike right up into miles of trails, one of which leads to your own private bend of the Tuolomne river.
$150 returnable deposit will reserve your dates. This is returned to you after the rental minus any electricity costs.The cabin has electric heat but we encourage people to heat the place in the cold months with the fireplace, and we provide you with all the firewood you’ll need.
Three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms. Sleeps four to six.

Mi Wuk Village is a quiet subdivision of summer cabins, many built in the 50s and 60s. it is a family friendly area and nearby is Pinecrest lake for summer swimming and boating and Dodge Ridge for winter skiing. The area goes from 4500 feet to the highest points in the Sierra range, is less well known than Tahoe or Yosemite and less crowded, but with all the scenic and adventure benefits of both of those areas.
