We rented this cabin for a weekend of winetasting at local vineyards in Amador county. The property is well maintained and located in a quiet neighborhood in the pines outside Pioneer. We were a group of 8 and were very comfortable with room left to spare. The property is easy to find, with ample parking, and many amenities. We especially enjoyed the board games and spacious kitchen table capable of seating everyone comfortably. This cabin is rustic, charming, and perfect for families with kids, or larger groups interested in short stays. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for those interested in cooking meals. My dealings with the renters were excellent. I would certainly rent again here.

Our family stayed at this home for 5 nights are were greeted with 5 inches of snow on day No. 2. The weather added to the warmth and charm of this home. It sits atop a small elevation, the interior is a bit well worn, but it has a great fireplace and plenty of space.

Nobody told me how good the wines of Amador County were. I knew there were wineries, but didn't know they did such a great job on the Zinfindels and Barberas. I came home with three cases!

We had a wonderful time at the Pioneer house! It was fun to explore the surrounding area - we especially enjoyed Silver Lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at your wonderful place in the mountains. We used your deck all the time---those wonderful trees!!! We came up RT. 395, which was very scenic, and so much better than RT. 5. We are hoping we can come again next year.

We had a great time at your beautiful home near Mace Meadows and hope to be able to return at another time. We very much appreciated the many "little things" you have done to make your home comfortable for renters.

We want to let you know that the cabin was perfect for us and the golf course was GREAT.

Having the house made our week so much more pleasant and relaxing than a hotel ever would have been
