The Owl's Nest sits on a private 5 acre lot with the First Connecticut Lake public boat ramp and picnic area at the end of the street.

This cabin is gorgeous and clean as a whistle. It is all wide open inside, fresh air and relaxation, in the middle of the woods. We saw moose and deer. This is the ultimate vacation experience, you can hike, fish or just sit. We came home rested and relaxed.

This is the place where you want to relax and enjoy life away from our busy routines. The cabin is beautiful and spacious with everything you could possibly need. Our two girls brought friends with them this year and they are already talking about coming again next year. The view from the top of GP Blvd. is unbelievable. The kids checked to see if their cell phones worked and they did. "This is so cool". Cell phones also work on the top of Mt. Magalloway. We are looking forward to another visit next year. Hopefully, we will see some moose. They were pretty scarce started to count all kinds of wildlife just to say we saw something. Thanks Ken for sharing your cabin. We had such a wonderful time.
