So, from a manâs perspectiveâ¦.. Thanks, Jeanne and Paul for sharing your very special home away from home with us, who you have never met before.
Thanks for your detailed information and coaching on how to best enjoy our time in Costa Rica â you are much appreciated. Thanks to Carlos, Ray, Lila and Reynaldoâ¦. All very friendly and helpful, as have been all the Costa Ricans we have met.
Now this amazing treehouse: A strong structure, great openness, NO front door! Beautiful teak wood stairs and flooring, great green and yellow colour scheme, carefully chosen furniture, quality fixtures and appliancesâ¦. It has a big fridge/freezer (with lots of ice-cube trays), great coffee maker, Sony radio, unlimited internet access.
The house is wonderful, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, quiet â beautifully isolated location. A very well equipped home. We wanted for nothing!
We especially enjoyed the Howler monkeys visiting us, and even the tree frogs.

What a great trip. Costa Rica is beautiful; every beach is the best in the world, everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We loved the Treehouse & the visits from the Howlers, so many different birds and animals â and the trees were out of this world. Ray and his vision of the grounds â which we called âRay visionâ was an inspiration.
And the weather â it was the same warm beautiful temperature every day â truly Paraiso. Carlos and his team were great â both at the treehouse and his restaurant.
Thanks Jeanne and Paul - until next time!

Hello Paul and Jeanne,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We were delighted with the entire stay and what an experience.
We had: monkeys as promised; variety of birds of which we were able to identify quite a few and will share pictures; those giant grasshoppers; frogs and toads; bats flying over our dinner plates; armadillo eating mangoes at the entrance to Pura Jungla; Papagayo winds that rattled and shook. Watched the rufous backed wrens building the nest just by the treehouse. We did couple of trips, spent a lot of time on the Junquillal beach, ate at Villa Deveena several times, at Carlos, at Lolas, ....cooked and drank and enjoyed the top deck in hammocks, visited with Rae and his lovely girl....
I hope, this does paint a picture of complete satisfaction and delight.
You have a very special place, but you know that; we would love to see it also in Green season.
We feel as we actually know you by sharing your wonderful retreat.

05/14/12 Positive We had an amazing time! It was impossible to leave the tree house to go on our fabulous day trips because there was so much going on. We watched a howler monkey/magpie interaction that will stay in my memory forever, we saw parrots, tree creepers, oriels, doves, mot-mots, wrens, woodpeckers...When we managed to close our eyes to all that was going on and head off to the beach we met wonderful people, ate delicious food and had adventures. We will be back as soon as we can to your slice of heaven.
04/16/12 Positive What an incredible experience my wife and I had here some years ago...We're really hoping to return soon:)

Our 1-week at the treehouse was easily the best vacation that Deanne and I have taken together!
(And that includes some extraordinary trips around the world).
Thank you for creating such a wonderful home away from home at JunglaVista. We felt
completely at peace with all the comforts of home -- fully stocked kitchen for cooking,
comfortable king sized bed, a great shower, and a reliable and quick internet connection.
We look forward to returning in the future⦠perhaps with a few friends? Although we might
want to keep JunglaVista all to ourselves :)

It's with heavy heart that we write in this book - only because this marks the end of the best vacation we have ever had. If we could figure out how, we wouldn't leave at all (ever!).
As if monkeys, birds, frogs, beaches, food, and sunsets weren't enough - we were fortunate to catch Seth play concert piano tonight - Chopin in the jungle.
We'll send you some photos and look forward to sharing a round at Peter Cellar's Pub with both of you and Wayne.
We are forever grateful to you for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

What truly makes a vacation memorable are the unique experiences that are once in a life-time. Having just returned from Paul and Jeanne's treehouse, I recommend that if you are looking for an eco experience beyond the normal resort, then this is the place to be.
The treehouse is amazing and the setting is quite spectacular as it's located high up on a mountain in a tropical forest overlooking the warm Pacific Ocean.
We enjoyed the beauty and comfort of the treehouse with its large living areas and amazing views of the valley below. Rod & I had a great time exploring the local beaches which stretch for miles and miles, enjoyed great local dining, and took fascinating adventurous trips up and down the coast.
Costa Rica â Pura Vida!
