Description of the Playa Zancudo vacation home rental

This is a newer home located 50 meters from the beach. The home was planned for maximum privacy with a wonderful open living area and kitchen upstairs. Through beautiful wood double doors is a spacious dressing area, walk-in shower, tiled sink. The huge master bedroom with king-size bed has three enormous screened windows with views of the trees and the ocean. The lower level is a roomy studio apartment with one queen bed, a kitchen and large bathroom.
Every window is screened for insects, but still allows the ocean breezes to keep the house comfortable. Beautiful woodwork and tile make this the perfect tropical home. Fantastic location for day trips to Corcovado Park on the Osa Pensinsula, river kayak trips, or simply relaxing in a hammock with a book. Swimming is incredible. Outside this home are waves large enough to surf or boogie board. Walk a 1/4 mile up the beach and the Osa Peninsula provides protection from the Pacific swells so that the waves are gentle and easy to manage.

The rates for the house are: $700/week, $2,500 month. Inquire about off-season rates (between May and November).
Rates are for double occupancy $10 per person per day for additional persons over 5 years of age.

Zancudo is a small Costa Rican village spread along a 6 mile stretch of pristine beach on one side and a huge river on the other. This provides tourists with a wide range of activities from surfing, kayaking, fishing and more. The wildlife is always great entertainment with monkeys, sloth, many different birds and butterflies.
Hang one of the hammocks between the coconut trees at the edge of the beach and watch the sunset each evening or stroll the deserted beach. It's easy to see why visitors call this paradise.

Water is from our well and is available at all times. Radio with ipod dock and attachments for any size ipod. We may have internet access soon... we're in line for it. There is a phone for local calls. There is also an air bed, not sure if it's a single or a double.
